I paid $66 in June. It is in the great location. The inside the building was updated with new sink or tiles that it felt clean. The managers were courteous. I enjoyed my stay. No breakfast but they have coffee in the office.
Were traveling at a busy time of year and we can appreciate that. The Rainbow Motel was the most expensive motel we stayed in 12 nights of traveling. And although it's somewhat renovated and had new beds - good sleep - no breakfast was included and with a price tag of $200 plus just didn't have the value for us. It is in easy walking distance to downtown. And the rooms were clean.
I stayed here for two nights, then found myself back in Bend and stayed here again. The rooms were clean. It was close to downtown. It had a nice smoking area, so you didn't feel like a parahia by having to smoke in the car park like at most hotels. I would certainly recommend staying here in Bend.
Stayed 2 nights in the 2-store back part of the motel away from the street. Very quite place, nice owners, grounds were kept clean. Beds were a little firm for my wife's liking, but I thought they were fine. AC worked and wasn't too noisy like other places we have been. For the price with the all the events going on in town, it was a decent place, no breakfast, but didn't want any, close to shopping and food. WiFi, fridge, coffee, & fridge in the room. Would stay here again.
My husband, son, and I stayed one night in August, paid a reasonable price, and felt we got exactly what we paid for. The room was clean and quiet (we were in the back building), and the location excellent. We rode our bikes to the river paths, walked all over Old Bend sampling beer flights at breweries, and came back to comfortable (far more comfortable than expected) beds. Check in and check out were easy. For visiting the city and easy walking to pubs---the Rainbow Motel is a great stop. We'd stay again.
