Took a chance on this little motel. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was a pleasant surprise. The motel is older so the room was small, which was OK for us. Nice clean room. Now it is time for sleep. This had to be the noisiest room we have ever stayed in. We could hear people talking,... More

A little motel with nice clean rooms. The rooms are small but the remodel makes it very clean and comfortable. The prices were very reasonable. I asked for the very best price and I got it. It's on a very busy street making it easy to find but its on a very busy street so it's noisy in the morning.... More

For the price, I was thrilled! I have traveled extensively in my lifetime, and have stayed in top of the line hotels and in some bottom of the barrell motels. When booking, I took my chances with the Dunes, figuring it might be pretty rough. When I opened the door to my room, a huge smile swept over my face.... More

With Motels you get what you pay for, the Dunes is showing its age but it was clean over all the bathrooms really need to be renovated and or updated. The staff were great, there was a small fridge, coffee maker and micro wave and we were on the 2nd level near the main street.

Having been told by a few people along our road trip that Bend OR was a good place to stopover if you are into craft beer, we decided to add it to our itinerary. We booked this place the day before arriving, as it had a good location within walking distance of NW Bond St where most of the action... More

Not to impressed here, the room was nice had cool decorations. But in the bathroom the shampoo and conditioner usually supplied new we're half used by previous stayers and the lotions and stuff were all half used also. Would not recommend to a friend.

This motel was very clean and the non smoking rooms didn't smell of smoke. Our rooms looked very similar to the pictures on the booking websites. Great stay and great price. Only complaint I have is the fact that I was charged 11.50 percent "lodging tax" for our rooms. After doing some research I came to find out that the... More

I made a reservation on May 5, 2016 for June 25, 2016. I received a confirmation number. They charged my credit card. On June 18 I received a call from a reservation company informing me that the Dunes was overbooked & would not honor my confirmed reservation. One would think that the Dunes would be aware of the supposed "overbooking"... More

OK - I suffer from grade inflation. And I wouldn't give this more than a 2. Maybe a 3 minus. Nothing special. Clean enough. Rooms OK size. In any other area should cost less. Sounded like it might have some charm by reading reviews - I must have been confused!

I'm not quite sure what room the other reviewers were in, but our room was great. Loved the color scheme. The refrigerator was the best we'd had this trip (we've been on the road for a couple of weeks) and everything was spotless!! I would definitely stay again.
