The surface of room was clean. Then I pulled the blankets back. The sheet was filthy. There was garbage under the bed, walls were filthy afraid to take a shower. Staff could not speak English and key card had to be fixed twice and still did not work. Gunk was so thick on AC I was afraid to touch it. Dirty towel hanging In shower. Sleeping in vehicle was prefered to this room.
This hotel is absolutely horrific and should be condemned. We were traveling through bend on our way to California it was 12:30am and we were exhausted so decided to stop and stay the night of course being so late the hotels I did call were booked it was pouring down rain and we did not know the area so long story short we ended up at this Budget Inn...Did not want to stay just by the looks of the outside but as I said before we were exhausted..We checked in through this little sliding window and the hotel clerk was of odd behavior and really made me uneasy continuing on the next step to our journey entering into our room was disgusting and filthy..Cannot believe the health dept. has not been contacted..I did not sleep a single wink due to the noise of the neighbors in which I believe lived there and the foot traffic was ridiculous (I think drugs may have been being sold)...You get what you pay for and I completely understand that and I did not mind that the t.v., carpet and microwave was all from the 1960's because we were only laying our head down to sleep for about 5 hours but it was the disgusting filth of the entire room and bathroom..PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! You will be sorry if you stay and who knows what kind of bugs you will travel home with...…
Here is a place in Bend, Oregon that advertises "Nice, Clean; Come In." Don't fall for it. If you stay for a period of time, they make you clean your own rooms, No maid service. Rooms are of poorest quality and should not be used at all. Saw the Bend fire dept., and building while staying, and the place looks like it going to fall apart soon. The room were just covered with drywall compound and painted and poorly re-carpeted. Have to walk to many steps to change towels. have to clean your own room. electrical exposed. Place is falling apart. Then you have people playing with your room door at night. Don't go there.
Recently had to spend a few days in Bend. Looked for a great deal on a room as I only needed a bed to sleep in for a few nights. When I arrived, they tried to charge me more than the price advertised online. Several of the outlets in the room didn't work. The bathroom gave you an uneasy feeling that it wasn't clean and the carpet was full of stain marks. The bedding appeared clean, however, it was very thin and worn and certainly didn't smell very fresh. It was difficult to communicate with staff. Watching the guests that came and went gave the impression this was a "landing" for drug deals. The mattress appeared very old and had stuffing and netting hanging out the bottom. I discovered that staying in this motel was a nightmare come true. I received bedbug bites on my legs. Yes, bedbugs! I had to do some research to determine that's what they were. I pulled the bedding back and saw plenty of the type of stains that they leave and found several adult bugs in the seams of the bed. Fortunately, I think I was lucky and did not bring any of them home with me. However, it is still a possibility. Please, this is a growing problem and you do not want to stay anywhere that they exist. There is currently nothing on the market that will kill them. This motel definitely has them and should be shut down until the problem is eliminated.…
Some people said they have paid $55 or more on internet specials, the room was only $44 walk up price. For that price, it's just what you expect, small tv, wires sticking out of the heater (keep your kids away from it), cover on the a/c unit falls off. But bed was ok, room was relatively clean and if you just want someplace to sleep then this will work. Check in was a little strange, it was after dark and they wouldnt open the office, I had to check in though a little sliding window.
