Lara House is a big, beautifully appointed B&B with all the amenities in a gorgeous residential neighborhood which is within walking distance to the cute little downtown area and scenic Drake Park. The common area is cushy and a nice area to enjoy the cookies and wine in the evening with other guests and share travel stories. Breakfast was a...

My husband and I stayed at Lara House B&B overnight and I'm so glad we did. The owner was welcoming and friendly. During the late afternoon hours she served home-made delicious chocolate cookies and wine. Soft drinks and water are available all day. We stayed in the Drake room. It was comfortable and lovely. My only complaint was that it...

I can't tell you what a wonderful time my good friend, Pam, and I had here. We were visiting another good friend who lives in Bend and she recommended Lara House. She was SO right. The rooms are simply beautiful. The breakfasts, however, are over-the-top. You would swear you are at your grandma's house. So delicious, luxuriant and extremely generous.

What a cool and romantic B&B in downtown Bend! The rooms were cozy and very nice. We felt at home! Great breakfast and a wonderful patio to enjoy our evening wine. The owner was very nice and hospitable. A must stay for any Bend visit. We'll be back!

Stayed two nights at this B&B that has an amazing location, within two easy walking blocks to the downtown area with its shops and restaurants, and also across the street from a park with walk along the river. The service was warm and friendly, and we felt they cared whether we had a nice time while visiting Bend. The breakfasts...

Great location. Half a block to the park; one more block to the downtown restaurants and market. Very pleasant rooms, well appointed. The breakfast was find, but not stellar. We enjoyed our selves. If you have the time, enjoy the veranda and a glass of wine or beer before heading out to dinner.

We are very glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. When the weather is nice, both the back porch and the front porch are perfect places to enjoy wine and beer hour which we offer each evening.

This pricey b&b has potential to be great. Close to Deschutes river and park, as well as close to downtown and good restaurant. Rooms were nicely decorated but very dark. We have stayed in B&Be in lots of places, including Israel and Middle East. This is the most expensive one we have stayed in. But neither the decor, setting, our...

Great ambiance, nicely furnished rooms, all the necessities, and very, very scrumptious and plentiful breakfasts! A great little place to stay while in Bend. Short walk to the downtown area. Knowledgable owner gives tips for restaurants and day activities.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Lara House B&B. The craftsman style home is located within walking distance to downtown and Drake Park. We stayed in the Deschutes Room which was very nice. The bathroom featured a shower stall only, and is fairly small. If you weigh more than 130 pounds, you might find it to be...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that the bathroom was not as spacious as you would have liked. The house was built in 1910, so space must be utilized uniquely so that each room can have it's own private ensuite bath. Each bathroom is designed differently so as to work with the space allowed. We are glad that...

Husband and I stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed it very much. We had a large room upstairs with a huge bathroom. They have a complimentary cocktail hour at 5pm, serving good wine and beer.
