We pulled in on a Thursday evening around 5:30 without a reservation and luckily got a room, as, within an hour they were all booked up. There was one couple ahead of us and more couples came shortly after us. The owner was very pleasant and let us look into all the rooms to choose which one we wanted. I... More

The Sea Star Guest House is a must stay place in a typical American fishing village. Book early to avoid missing out and try to have a room at the front. Rooms at the front overlook the harbour and fishing boats, they are a little more expensive but well worth it. And really the rates are not that much. From... More

Really quaint, simple place to stay with lots of charm. We had the top floor, two storey suite we had plenty of space and a lovely view over Bandon marina . Lovely peaceful stay with a beautiful view where we were completely untroubled by anyone else

If you want to stay in a nice place in the old town of Bandon, and space is not a great concern, this is a perfect spot. It’s a house that overlooks the Bandon marina, and one can sit on a small outdoor porch and take in the view. We stayed in room 2 (upstairs, with a view to the... More

This place is a small property that looks like it has just converted into a lodging facility. The room we stayed in was adequate for the night. It was quite large with only a shower in the bathroom which was fine for us. The major problem is there is not AC, so in order to get air movement and to... More

The Sea Star Guesthouse is located in downtown Bandon, across from the small harbor. It is an easy walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Bandon. I have stayed here twice this year. I awarded the Sea Star Guesthouse five stars because, for basic accommodations (shower, no bath tub), it is clean, well-taken care of, and affordable.

Room was a nice size and clean. But the bathroom is down a set of stairs, it's so small that it would only fit a small child. My husband is a 400 lb man and couldn't even get close to the toilet. We asked about another room but we're told they were booked up but the room next to us... More

Though it is on the harbor and nice to walk around at night, this Is a cheap, thinwalled place with a mediocre cleanliness level and The bathroom may be designed with skinny midgets in mind. I am 6'1" and the shower was tough to deal with, both height and water pressure wise. Keep trying seastar! Not worth eighty bucks, especially... More

We have stayed several times at this quaint guesthouse on the bay at Bandon and this time brought friends. Reasonably priced and a quick walk to Old Town Bandon shops and eats. Friendly owners who have each room simply but tastefully decorated.

On the plus side it was super clean. Its very near the harbor and restaurants. You can sit outside on the deck - although our deck had a view of the staircase. On the downside despite the fact that we had a separate lounge to the bedroom it felt a bit claustrophobic. Sound insulation between the rooms was non existent,... More
