Ever stay in one of those places for one night and wish you had a week or even a month to stay! This is that property! We stayed in Unit one for one night and it was amazing! Sure it is not a modernly decorated place where everything is cookie cutter perfect rather it is simply PERFECT with charm and character! The unit we stayed in had a king size bed and sitting area along with a small kitchen and bath downstairs and a room upstairs with two double beds. Originally planning on having a teen ager boy with us we would have needed the upstairs. We are so glad we didn't alter our reservation for other lodging since we came alone. We would of missed out on this comfy gem! The rooms were sparkling clean and COVID safety steps taken at every turn! We cooked a small dinner of Stone Creamery mac and cheese in the oven and enjoyed the ocean. The units perched right atop the ocean bluff have an amazing view. Sunsets are gorgeous. The walk to the beach below is traveled on a well groomed trail. The lawn area out the sliding glass door is decorated with adirondack chairs to chill and enjoy the view! Check in was easy and the folks are super friendly. Dog friendly so even our Lab loved the place! It's a little out of town (5 minutes by car) but once you get there you will not have any desire to walk into town !! Will certainly go back to this new favorite!

We discovered Windermere on the beach 3 years ago and couldn't wait to come back from California. The cottages are perfect for families. Our favorite part is the patios and beach access. You can walk all the way to Face Rock State Scenic viewpoint, which we highly suggest. The cottages themselves are very clean and give an old time feel. We love that they are two stories so we can have some alone time away from our kids. My only complaint would be how small the bathrooms are, but honestly the charm of the whole place makes up for it. The staff is super friendly and it's just an all around great place to stay and you can't beat the views!

Location is great! Views of the ocean, cozy and comfortable room. Staff is great, kind and helpful. The fire alarm went on beeping around midnight every 20 seconds and the manager came to solve the problem very soon. He even gave us a discount on the final price (not much, but is something we appreciated). It has an awesome balcony, which we would have appreciated that was more taken care of and much cleaner.

We got a family room for two nights. Two story end unit so kids up and parents, kitchen and bathroom down. Gorgeous view of Bandon beach and reasonable walk on single track through dunes. Very clean and kitchen well stocked Also quiet. Two thumbs up.

Windermere Inn is a quaint little hotel, great location. Just a short walk down a sandy path to the beach. The room was simple but nice and would’ve been perfect except for a few minor drawbacks: the bed mattress was quite soft; the refrigerator generated a loud noise all night; and the window was dirty. We stayed in a double queen room (one queen bed, and a pull out sofa) on the second floor. The deck faced the parking lot, rather than the beach, which was a bummer. There would have been a nice view of the beach through the kitchen window, but because the window was so cloudy, we couldn’t see it clearly. So we walked to the beach instead. In spite of these negatives, it was still pretty sweet to stay on the beach for such a reasonable rate. The town of Bandon is disappointing during Covid: many shops and restaurants are closed, especially on Tuesdays. But on the bright side, there are no crowds either.

Thank you for taking the time to review. We apologize for the window seal being broken and thus cloudy view. A replacement order is in the works and will be installed soon. Unfortunately we could not put you in a room with a deck because that was the last room available. Our king rooms have decks or balconies and our family cottages have patios downstairs. Our lovely seaside village shop owners our all working together to make the travelers in town welcome during their visit. As you are well aware in this time of Covid-19 life as we've all known it is challenging and difficult to be open at all. Bandon was recently voted as 1 of 10 most beautiful secluded beaches in the U.S.A so glad you were able to enjoy this special treasure. Safe travels and enjoy your summer. It was a pleasure meeting you.
