The hosts are very helpful. The bathroom facilities are some of the best I've seen at a campground with perfectly hot water. The campsites are a little too close together but there is privacy and the grounds became pretty quiet once the sun went down. There's a hike for beach access! Campfires were allowed during our stay and they sell... More

Was pleasantly surprised at how nice this campground was. A very large campground with 3 separate loops. I enjoyed the privacy between campsites. The bathroom was very clean with also nice showers with immediate hot water. The beach and lighthouse are within walking distance and you could go crabbing or fishing just a short distance away.

We were very impressed with the variety and number of campsites. Each one was lighted and maintained immediately after each camper left. The showers weren't real hot, but had good pressure and privacy. While we would definitely stay here again, we would not buy the $5 bundle of firewood as it did not seemed to be seasoned properly. The wood... More

Bullards doesn't feel as large as it is because of the 3 loops. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Lots of attendants. With all the ponds nearby, we weren't surprised to see mosquitos in morning and evening. A sunnier camp spot may have helped. We were on the west side of loop C. The north and east sides were sunnier.... More

This campground has clean showers and bathhouses. The Camping sites are a little cramped with loads of trees but overall pleasant sites. The Rangers are very personable and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. You should try to tour the lighthouse at the end of the road when here.

I started camping at bullards when I was just a little girl so many memories of riding my bike around and around the loops! I remember when they were first starting the "C" loop we didn't want to camp up there because the trees were just tiny little shrubs now that loop has become one of our favorites! We've stayed... We stopped at Bullards Beach on our loop out West. You can pick your sites online when you make the reservation and that's what we did. Our spot was nice and private with plenty of space. It was a short path away from the bathroom. We didn't partake in the state park activities, but if it was as well-maintained as... More

Have been to the camp site two years in a row. The sites are always in great condition, there's lots of walking or bike trails. The Camp Hosts are all amazing! One host in particular that conducts the Jr. Ranger program is the absolute best! he's so patient and just a wonderful Man. Will be back again in 2016.

At check in host was pleasant and informative. Sites were very private due to shrubbery and trees blocking close neighbors, even though we could hear neighbors we couldn't see them. Hosts checked in on us to make sure we didn't need Anyang else and to let us know about their ampitheater and other events that were going on in the... More

Beautiful spot on the ocean. Clean and well kept campground. Yurts are the way to go! Very rainy but warm and cozy on a yurt! Really nice camp hosts also which is always a plus. I think the yurts are booked far in advance so book early! Clean bathrooms too!
