I view Bandon Golf Resort as a once or twice in a lifetime event. It is an excellent resort property and worth the effort. However, between the nearly $300 for each round of golf plus another $100 plus for a caddy plus the cost of lodging and transportation, I could justify going to Scotland and play classic links style courses...

As one of the premier golf resorts in the country, it fulfilled my (golfer) needs -- some of the best golf in the U.S., a location right at the course, a staff that will handle everything you need to golf, and good food/drink at the resort or in the nearby town. The staff took care of all the details (help...

...this place was great! I tagged along with my husband bc this was on his bucket list - and I wasn't disappointed. Food and drink: excellent all the way around Customer Service: also excellent; especially Wendy the Sommelier- she went above and beyond when I needed guidance on wineries to visit in route back to Portland. Couldn't have seen and...

Have been going to Bandon almost every winter since 2000. I have been to Ireland and Scotland fairly recently and loved those experiences, too. Being an Oregonian, though, I can get to Bandon in a few hours and play courses equal to or better than what I played in Scotland and Ireland. One caveat: we find we must reserve rooms...

Bandon Dunes has four courses rated in the top 50 in the US with two in the top 10 or 20. They feature links with stunning views and great challenge. Caddies are required for good reason and they are very experienced. The lodging is very good and spacious. The restaurants serve excellent and reasonably priced meals for breakfast lunch and...

We visited Brandon Dunes two years ago. I couldn't wait to return. I love each of the five courses in a different way. The resort is well-run. They make the experience seamless. Great lodging, great restaurants, great courses, and fantastic caddies. All courses are walking only, so this resort is definitely not for everyone. We played 36 holes each day,...

What a place. You have to experience it to understand. Before coming here I always heard how amazing it was here yet didn't really understand... Until now. Truly world class. The setting, challenge, service and overall 'experience'. Highly recommend this for groups of friends. Plan a golf tournament like the Ryder Cup. Cheers!

Played all courses, Pacfic Dunes, Bandon Trails & Bandon Dunes were played twice. To those that think The Trails is the weak link because you don't have knock out coastal views, you are misled. The preserve has the best greens, service was outstanding, we ate at every restaurant & enjoyed all of them. Make sure if you hit the Bunker...

We had always heard about this golf course. Traveling up the Oregon coast on a short vacation, we decided to stop here to see why this golf course had such an impeccable reputation. We were not prepared to play the course on this trip.... but maybe a future excursion. Scenery was beautiful!!! Gently rolling hills, manicured greens, and expansive vistas...

Bandon Dunes is on the Oregon Coast and is about as close as you can get to Scotland and Ireland without leaving the US. They have 5 championship courses plus the Preserve, which is a great 13 holes of Par 3's. The Lodge has a bunch of different hotel options and also lots of dining and bar alternatives. These are...
