This was terribly dirty stains on carpet ( many ) I opened dresser draw had brown matter in it. Broke my beaded bracelet I went to find beads in floor. My hand was full of dirt when I got finished picking up my beads. Bed terrible u fall into the middle . Pool closed. No hangers alarm clock . Never again !!
This is an old hotel that needs lots of immediate TLC. The swimming pool was closed, there was no hot breakfast (a sack breakfast with juice, piece of fruit, granola bar), and general condition was poor (mold on shower mat, stains on carpet, no cups in bathroom or room).
there was mold . the cocking around the tub was ripped all up . the ac did not work the people around us where load ass hell sounded like they where in are room and the owners we wonted out of there so bad we left with 3 hours of some what sleep tried to complain and they said oh you should have brought it up to us we are not willing to do any thing for you we got a call just to say the lobby was Clousing that was it and got the room on trip and they set it out for 2 months we got there they said they would match it and then tryed to charge us 230 room was not worth 50 bucks
The hotel is older and could use a little updating but it was fine for the night. It felt a little dirty but that ma6just have been because it is an older hotel. We had a main floor room which worked fine until the guest above us arrived home around midnight. He/she stomped around for a while which meant we were not able to sleep. We turned on the air conditioner to drown out some of the noise. If you stay here, get a room at the back away from the truck stop. If it had not been for the stomper it would have been a good stay. The desk clerk was efficient and explained that the office was shut overnight and that we could pick up breakfast the next day after 9 am. We chose to eat elsewhere.
Overall a fine place for a one night stay. Seen better days but room felt and looked clean, bed was comfortable and even though just off the Highway and next to a sort of truck stop it was very quiet once the door was closed! Could hang some fly stripes outside the doors though, everytime we opened the room door a bunch would swarm in! We spent the first 10 minutes there swatting flies! Also, town seems to roll up the sidewalks at 9pm on a Saturday. We did find a place to eat but a lot were closing up as we walked into town.
After choosing this is establishment as are destination for the night primarily based on their loud advertising of their heated indoor pool, we arrived to find that the pool is not only closed but has been so for the last 2 years. No mention of any pool closure whatsoever in any advertising even though they obviously had plenty of time to do so. The "complimentary breakfast" was literally a brown paper bag with a bottled orange juice and a nutri-grain bar. I don't think that is complimentary even to the word breakfast. The room was sworn with flies, had obvious garbage in the drawers, dirty and cracking wall panels around the shower. To summarize, I feel like they purposely misled in their advertising to draw people into what they know is a hot mess.
The office is locked until 9AM. No ice, no grab-n-go breakfast is available until then. Desk clerk does not mention this when you check-in. McDonalds across street is closed until 8AM. Otherwise, good internet and hot water.
Pros: Convenient location; comfortable bed; everything worked; pet friendly. Cons: Filthy carpet, noisy heater, trash not picked up on property, in need of a lot of TLC. Seems ownership is doing the minimum to stay afloat during difficult times.
Nice room but very noisy heater. Kept us awake all night. I swear it went on and off at least every 60 seconds. Good bed, but it would have been nice to be able to sleep (due to noisy heater). They quoted us a price when we made reservation, and then charged us quite a bit more when we got there. However, they made it right. They were friendly and accommodating.
I took sanitizing wipes through the entire room and I was shocked at how much sticky stuff was on all surfaces along with tons of hair. Lets just say that we wouldn't let our two year old down on the floor to run. If you're thinking that it might have just been our room you're wrong. Our family members experienced the same thing. Curious too, was there a fatality in our room? Whats with the cut out piece of carpet?
