We have been repeat customers at the Geiser Grand Hotel and will not be repeating again. My husband booked the family in for a (2nd) ski trip last January and cancelled nearly one week prior due to inclement weather, dangerous roads. The Geiser Grand would not issue a refund and was told he had to use the credit within 30...

It reminded me of the uniqueness of the Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood and the Many Glacier Hotel in Montana. Delicious food and service, I will definitely be back but this time, it will be planned! I didn't know of the connection to the Oregon Trail and Baker City nor was I aware of at the amazing buildings that are...

The water pressure was wonderful and the showers stayed hot the entire time. Comfortable beds extremely clean rooms. The rooms were very quiet. Front desk was friendly the only complaint I could possibly have was that the key cards kept deactivating themselves so we had to go down 2 times to reactivate them in order to get into our rooms....

A fun old hotel. Not a lot of rooms but they are big, with 15 to 20 foot ceilings. Even w/central air/heat they can get a bit cold or hot and the upper floors are a long way from hot water (takes time to get there). Special days are really fun. The Easter Brunch was fantastic and we will be...

I was blown away by the level of granduer of the building, truly a spectacle! The Bierstadt replicas make you feel like you were in the 1880s. Customer service was top notch! I made the mistake of booking online and needed to change my reservation, which was easier said than done. Long story short, the hotel staff saved me. Free...

Four of us visited the Oregon Trail center and decided to stay at the Geiser Hotel. We read many of the reviews which some were not positive. Our experience was just the opposite. The staff from check in to the bar was tops. We ate both dinner and breakfast there and found the food and service was excellent. The rooms...

Don't cancel less than 7 Days. They will not give you a refund. Our flight from Houston to Boise was cancelled due to a refueling issue at the Boise airport. The hotel will not give us a refund because of their policies. They did send us a upgrade voucher, but we will never go back to the area. Very poor...

My family of 5 plus our dog stayed here for two nights and we had a great time. The room was beautiful, large and very clean. We enjoyed a great dinner in the restaurant. We had salmon, pasta, steak and prime rib, whiskey bread pudding, huckleberry ice cream and creme brûlée- everything was delicious! We also had a nice time...

This hotel is a gem! We have family in Boise and Portland, and make that drive often. With a new baby we wanted to break the drive up, so decided to make a Baker City adventure out of it. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and comfortable. And they allow dogs! My favorite part...

We stayed in the four poster bed room with views of the town and the mountains (unfortunately mostly obscured by clouds when we were there.) The rooms was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. Don't come here for television--at least the screen in this room was very small. The hotel itself and the area it is in are fascinating. This was...
