As soon was I walked in and encountered the lady in the front desk, I was satisfied. She was very nice and respectful, making herself available for any problems I had. The following day I encountered some problems in regard to my schedule. The woman working the frond desk, April went above and beyond to help me. She showed compassion and caring for her customers. I haven't received that treatment in a while, and thought it was worthy of a great review!

Arriving at the hotel, I notice the parking garage is closed due to repairs. Being a Sunday in the office building district, there is available parking on the street a block and a half away. It was free until 8AM Monday, so that saves the $10 the hotel would have charged. Due to the front entrance also being closed, you have to enter through the side restaurant. It’s very narrow with a bump, not good for luggage! Arriving a little after 10AM, I was happy to know my room was available on a higher floor giving me a view of part of the city. Being a Spire Elite member, I was upgraded to a suite which is very large and roomy. Restful sleep. The major issue is the pool. Spending a few hours hours outside in nearly 100 degree heat with high humidity, the pool was badly needed before going back out for the night. The website advertised their glass roof, and it was very ordinary, I expected something more eyecatching. Despite being indoors, there is no or very little air conditioning, which made it extremely uncomfortable around it (at least outdoors had a slight breeze). If this isn’t bad enough, I found out the ladder going into the pool on the deep end is broken! One step was completely broken off, and the lower one did after I stepped on it! I though I injured my foot, luckily it was just sore for a little bit. Being nearsighted and never wearing my glasses when swimming, I could not see this was broken. No caution tape, no sign, nothing! I expect better from a Holiday Inn. Had the woman asked my about my stay when I checked out next morning, I would have mentioned it. Tulsa is a fun city and I would love to return someday, however it will take me a lot of convincing to stay here. If the pool issue wasn’t there this is likely a four star review. However, nearly being injured due to the hotel’s negligence is unacceptable.

Dear Keith B, Thank you for choosing Holiday Inn and for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience at Holiday Inn TULSA CITY CENTER. I would like to start by apologizing to you for the inconveniences you faced during your stay with the pool ladder not being in perfect condition. We inspect the pool multiple times per day to ensure our guests have the highest level of safety and proper pool conditions. While this does not resolve your dissatisfaction please know we take these matters very seriously to make future guests stays a memorable experience. We strive to make each stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible, and we appreciate that you brought your experience to our attention. We take feedback seriously and will coach our team to make the necessary changes so we can provide a better experience in the future. I hope you will give us a chance by staying with us again to show you that your unsatisfactory stay was an exception. Again, thank you for sharing your comments. The hotel is undergoing renovations so the parking garage is closed. This makes parking a challenge, trying to navigate when/where parking is free, where the public parking garages are, the hours, and fees, etc. I would recommend planning ahead, as the only parking at the hotel is a 10-minute limit drop off area on Boulder Ave. In addition to the parking inconveniences, the hotel was rather disappointing. The lobby was full of loud guests so it was hard to hear anything Katy said while she was checking us in (not her fault...she did well). We were given a room on the 9th floor, which was great, but it appeared the room had not been used for quite some time. The room was not vacuumed, there was dust on the furniture, and the tub faucet was leaking...so much so that there was a rust stain in the bathtub (we did let them know when we checked out). The WiFi, A/C, and TV worked fine and the bed was comfortable. It was pretty quiet overnight so we did sleep well. There was some construction noise in the mornings but it did not begin too early. We booked this hotel on a prepaid site but probably wouldn't choose it again.

The rooms are fine but not one single guest is complying with the mask mandate that is clearly visible throughout the hotel. Elevator is broken and having to pack into crowded elevator with maskless people in order to get to and from room.

Dear Jtamtamadams, Thank you for your review and feedback of your recent visit with us. We sincerely apologize for our elevator being under repair during your stay. It certainly is inconvenient especially when others do not follow the CDC guidelines to wear masks in public areas as we have posted throughout the hotel to provide you and our team members a safe environment during the worldwide pandemic. We hope you will give us the opportunity to serve your lodging needs in the future. Sincerely, D Schmidt, General Manager

My wife and I were in the Tulsa area twice this fall so far. On one trip, we stayed here for a night. During this time of COVID anyway, we had to go elsewhere for food. There's nothing special about the room. The cleaning staff were friendly.
