This is a classic 1950's motel which is well maintained and original in nature. If you are a rt 66 enthusiast and like the old style motels, you'll like this. The #1 most awesome feature is that the bathroom tile floors are heated!! so the floor is nice and warm! The girl in our group really liked this. If you... More

I've stayed here before but this time I had more issues. The outside looks great and the lady at the desk is really nice and helpful. The rooms are looking run down. They really need to re-do the walls, ceilings instead of all the patches. The carpets are starting to smell too. It's is fun to stay at the retro... More

Riding Route 66 this a quaint hotel. If you are looking for flash, keep looking but if a comfortable bed and great pillows is what you are after this is fine. If however you want some friendly customer service, wait, just basic customer service, then keep looking. The couple that were here checking us in were not rude, they were... More

GREAT VALUE !! Classic RT 66 neon & style. Clean sheets, cold A/C & fairly quiet stay- (no train tracks or freeways nearby) Staff was nice & shower worked fine. Great WiFi & cable. Bonus- grassy outdoor play area w/ picnic tables.

If you are looking for the Hilton, you are lost. If you are looking for a clean room, nice staff, and a trip back in time, this is your place. An old school motel, this is a history lesson. Route 66 stop in Tulsa, this place is a great value. But again, if you are looking for fluffy pillows and... More

I've returned here several times. In an age of impersonal franchises, it's good that some independent motels are enduring, and the owners of this one are keeping it in better shape than many of the other old motels in Tulsa. Better, this is an authentic old Route 66 motel, with a courtyard, a classic sign, and a famous Rt. 66... More

Location is great. Price was great. Room was tolerable. If you're looking for perfection, this isn't your place. The sink in my room took an hour to drain and the bathroom had minor remnants of the past guests. Overall, of you just want a place for the night it was just fine. Staff was immediately available and no complaints there.

The Desert Hill Motel is a welcoming motor-lodge style with an awesome sign out front. The owners are a nice couple, with their kid doing his homework behind the glass. We checked in and looked around. The rooms are a little small, but not tiny. Mine was lime green, my colleagues was pink. The hotel is old and not exactly... More

This motel has very mixed reviews but we spent a comfortable night here. We used the laundry which was very efficient and the wi fi was free and there was a strong signal. Our room was big and although shabby it was clean and the shower worked well with good water pressure. The only negative was the rude and ignorant... More

After cancelling our room with a major chain motel because it was filthy and unsafe, we took a shot at the Desert Hills, which came recommended by the Route 66 guidebook. After the back and forth debacle of the previous motel, I was silently praying for a clean room and a vacancy. The girl at the office was nice and... More
