This place is the perfect get away! We went for our tenth Anniversary. Travis was Awesome, we received a warm greeting when we arrived. When we got to the cabin the music was playing and the the table was set for a romantic dinner. They left chocolate kisses by the bed and rose pedals on the bed! The bed was super soft and comfortable.when you step on the back porch you could hear the creek flowing. You could hear the water as you lay in the bed...SO PEACEFUL... Early in the morning sitting on the porch was breathe taking.

We stayed in the Cliffside cabin, which had both a jacuzzi and hot tub, as well overlooked the river that ran beneath.. well, a cliff. . The cabin was extremely clean when we came in, provided ample space for two people to be comfortable up close and separate, and the on-site catering (food service?) was surprisingly very convenient. The staff was very kind and friendly, couldn't think up a complaint if I wanted to. About the food service: apparently, this was a new thing they were doing. The guy who cooked for us was exceedingly nice and, from what I could tell, a pretty darn good at what he did. Definitely recommend trying it out. We had the burgers, for what it's worth - excellent stuff. Honestly, the place is closer to Beaver's Bend (which is a touristy town) and there's a lot you can do there, from boating, ziplining, mini golf, etc., if you're looking for more than just nature hikes and great scenery. I think my only complaint, which is really a nit-pick, would be the lack of good cell service / wi-fi availability. But, hey, you're in a cabin in the woods! What do you expect? Overall, very pleased. Would definitely stay again.

I was looking for a place to take my husband for our 19th Wedding Anniversary on 2/14/2020 and found this place on travelok.com. I booked it based on the pictures and that it's located in the mountains. I had not read the reviews on here until after I booked. I was kind of scared at first to go because of some of the bad reviews. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran and I have cancer. We were given a Military Discount as well as our tax-exempt with no issues about doing it. However, when we arrived, it was more than we expected. Kay was welcoming and pleasant. We stayed in Eagels Nest Cabin. Kay had rose petals on the bed for us and the hot tub (located in the room) already warmed up for us. We paid the $30 for firewood and fire starter, which was really nice to have a real wood-burning fireplace. The cabin overlooked the creek. Great things about this place: -Super comfortable bed -Hot tub inside -Furnished with stainless steel appliances, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker and more. -There is firewood on the front porch ready to be used. -The cabins are situated at a really good distance for secluded privacy. -Taking a walk down by the pond and there is a creek walk path as well. We didn't get a chance to walk it, but we will next time for sure. What I love about this is that this is a couple only location nestled up in the mountains and it's quiet so one can relax and forget their worries. We have not slept so sound like we did there in a long time. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Drawbacks: -When you cook, open both doors and a couple windows because the fire alarm will go off. Little smoke sets it off -This has nothing to do with the owners or staff but if you wanted to bring your pooch, they have 3 cabins just for that. However, since this is in the country, folks around let their dogs run amuck. So if your dogs are not the friendliest toward other dogs, you may want to keep your pooch on a leash and keep a watch out. The other dogs are super friendly though. -The owner is kind of a rude person, but she is pretty old I'm told. So bare with her if you call. ---- Nearby restaurants: yeah, NONE! lol. You can hit up the little convenient store/gas station down the road call CJ's or head to Arkansas to Simple Simon's Pizza place. They are about 25min drive and have awesome pizza and calzones. There is a homeless kitty that I would love to of taken home to find a home for but was unable to without a crate. We fed her cat food we bought from CJ's down the street. Overall, we had a super great time, very romantic and relaxing and we hope to return next year for our 20th anniversary. We HIGHLY recommend these cabins.

I tried contacting the owners of this property for over 2 weeks. I even recruited intermediaries at OK Tourism to get in contact on my behalf. I never heard from them with regard to my enquiries. Very disappointed. It looked like a lovely place to stay ... but I will never know. Non-correspondence is just poor form in my opinion.

The cabins are lovely, very clean, very pretty and each one unique. the onsite manager there May is amazing. We ordered a steak meal in our cabin and she was the chef. everything was coked beautifully and she delivered it in the middle of a raging thunderstorm. We would have totally understood if it had been late but right there on time hot and wonderful. We stayed in the Spring Lake cabin and the stone shower is so perfect and relaxing. Highly recommend. This is a perfect place to totally get away. Phone are iffy, and that is just what we needed.
