This place is the perfect get away! We went for our tenth Anniversary. Travis was Awesome, we received a warm greeting when we arrived. When we got to the cabin the music was playing and the the table was set for a romantic dinner. They left chocolate kisses by the bed and rose pedals on the bed! The bed was super soft and comfortable.when you step on the back porch you could hear the creek flowing. You could hear the water as you lay in the bed...SO PEACEFUL... Early in the morning sitting on the porch was breathe taking.

My husband and I did a three-day weekend over Halloween and truly was able to disconnect and recharge. (No cell service except AT&T and only internet is at the office which we appreciated!)
This is a beautiful property with a lovely small lake/large pond central to the cabins. Nice hiking trail around through the woods and over a creek to a nice river. Did some casting, no bites but beautiful view and day nonetheless. Saw a deer wandering one morning.
We stayed in Treehouse Cabin, which was a pretty log cabin. Had the most comfortable king bed we have ever slept on! The bedroom was in a loft and only had room for the bed and a large corner jacuzzi with a tv. Had to keep our luggage downstairs and use the sitting room as our changing room. But it worked. The bathroom is down a staircase, so caution needed for night time trips there. I kept a flashlight on my night stand.
Front porch and back patio were great - nice private fire pit and hot tub out back. We spent our evenings there in the spa with a fire going on the pit nearby. Very romantic.
Kitchen had basic needs and nice brand new appliances. Could use better lighting but otherwise, functioned well.
We had breakfasts delivered both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Very good food. We didn’t try the other meals, as we were worried about having to plan around delivery times. I think it would have been fine - next time we will have to try the pizza or nachos!
Spa was needing a few chemicals, and we had asked to get a second outdoor chair since one of our Adirondecks was missing and that didn’t happen. Small improvements needed to an otherwise great place.
Would absolutely return and would recommend to others.

We wanted to get out of Dallas for the weekend and found Eagle Creek Escape Cottages on-line. Took a chance and booked the Wishing Well Cottage. The first thing we noticed was how quiet and peaceful the property was. The only sound was the wind flowing through pine trees above. The cottages have everything you need to cook or bake. The bed was super comfortable. There is wood for the indoor or outdoor fireplace. Walking trails and more.
We took a chance on trying something new and we really found a gem. We will be going back the next time we need a quiet respite from the city grind...

I tried contacting the owners of this property for over 2 weeks. I even recruited intermediaries at OK Tourism to get in contact on my behalf. I never heard from them with regard to my enquiries. Very disappointed. It looked like a lovely place to stay ... but I will never know. Non-correspondence is just poor form in my opinion.

My mom and I went there on a retreat. My grandmother had just passed away and we needed to renew ourselves. Everything was wonderful except when they tried to scam us. We had booked 5 nights but their computer system booked us for 6. We didn't realize this until it was time for us to leave cause we were so upset about my grandmother's passing. We couldn't stay the extra night because I had to be back for my husband's birthday. We talked to the lady that was there as we were leaving and she told us that the extra day would be refunded. When we got home, it wasn't refunded and the extra night was charged. My mom talked to the owner who said that because we didn't notice the charge before we got there, we had to pay it cause they couldn't rend it to anyone else, even though it was there fault to begin with. I grew increasingly upset and complained to them about it. She said they would mail a check but the check was never received and they have stopped communication with us all together. Great cabin, beautiful scenery, shady business. Know who you are dealing with.

We visited the property October 2016, had the same issue with Kay and her dog. I also read pet free, when we arrived Kay's dog was laying on the office porch. Kay also chimed in when my husband and me were talking and said I was bossy. Although I was appalled thought nothing more coming from what appeared to be poor white trash. By the time we unloaded our car and was ready to walk the grounds, yet another dog was running around. These two dogs followed us everywhere even slept on our porch. The older dog was well behaved but Kay's dog would jump all over us. I noticed (2) $30 credit card charges. I left a message and emailed the office to inquire and received a brief reply of, I broke pet policy and brought a pet on the grounds. Emailed Kay back to dispute, no reply. Called owner Rhonda, 580.371.6755, explained the dogs were on the property, she admitted the one dog was Kay's, a gift from them to her. The other dog was dumped there. She agreed to credit my card back the $30.....never did receive a credit. Six weeks later I called Rhonda again to inquire about credit and to email me a receipt of the credit. Again Rhonda would look into.....now here we are in January 2017 and still no credit. We stayed at the Cliffside cabin, it's ok, jacuzzi had a leak and made a gurgling noise all night. We were kind enough to fill the jacuzzi up so the motor would not burn up. No gratitude reciprocated.
Be cautious of bogus charges and non responsive help from mngt but I can guarantee one thing, the lip service you will receive is grand.
Poor business principles, we will never return to this deceitful place.

My wife and I were looking forward to a relaxing weekend. The cabin seemed lovely, until we noticed multiple dead roaches on the floor and what appeared to be roach droppings on the bed. When we brought this to the attention of the management the next morning, they apologized, took some money off of our bill, and they promised to clean the cabin. When we returned that night, there were still multiple roaches on the floor. Very disappointing, otherwise it would have been a nice weekend.

My husband and I just returned from Eagle Creek and were very disappointed. For the price point, the cabin was terrible - dark and dingy, needs total update. The hot water smelled so awful we were unable to use it. We have been visiting the Broken Bow area for many years and this is the MOST expensive cabin we've ever rented and to be charged an extra $15 per day for WIFI was totally ridiculous! Would not recommend to anyone.

My husband took me to Eagle Creek Escape to celebrate my birthday. We had read many reviews and done our research before we made reservations. I had tried to contact the owner twice via email regarding a question I had before we left home and never got a response. Upon arrival, we were not greeted in a friendly manner that made us feel welcome. We were not given any information about the facility other than a map telling us where our cabin was. We paid in cash so we could get the 3% discount, but the owner didn't have any change and the amount due us was never refunded on our bill. The website was misleading once we arrived in our room. The bedding was different, there was a strong odor that lasted all weekend (we could only guess it might be the fireplace) and came home with us on our clothing. The firewood that was left for us to use was wet. The jacuzzi tub in the room didn't work and there was a leak under the kitchen sink that we had to continuously clean up. When we went to the office to complain and notify the owner of the leak, no one was there. Our son had an emergency on our first evening and tried to call the number we were given for emergencies and never got an answer. The scenery is beautiful, but my husband and I agree, the website is very misleading and it was definitely not worth the money we paid to stay.
