They whole hotel had a very nostalgic feel. The only thing that wasn’t nostalgic was the smell. It was fresh and clean smelling, not musky and old. They had neat memorabilia about the history of the hotel. Our room service arrived timely and everything was fresh.

The Skirvin is top notch! Form the moment we pulled up, we were warmly welcomed and that friendliness continued throughout our stays. The valet was very kind and was helpful in guiding is to the offsite parking lot ($10/ day). When we went out the first night, he was half to help us find the perfect restaurant dor our date night. The front desk staff were also fantastic and made us feel so welcome. They are also a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the hotel and the art within. Be sure to look up and marvel at the stunning chandeliers! And take note of the carved faces at the top of the columns - they are past governors of Oklahoma. We stayed in room 811 the first time we stayed here then in 509 the second time. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The beds and pillows are divine! The shower is awesome!! Plenty of water pressure! This further illustrates how much they have invested in keeping this beautiful historic hotel updated. The hotel is MUST when visiting Oklahoma City!

I was in town for work. Somehow my drivers license fell underneath my bed during my visit. I didn’t realize I wasn’t in possession of it until I got to Tennessee. I spoke to Mike LP and he went above and beyond by locating my driver’s license. He called me once he found it. Then he mailed it to me. I was very pleased with the service I received while staying at this hotel. The staff was professional and friendly. Mike LP is an awesome person! He went above and beyond to help me and that says a lot about the hotel and their staff. They exceeded my expectations. The hotel was beautiful and clean. I highly recommend you stay here when passing through Oklahoma. I will definitely return in the future.

I was not impressed with the Skirvin as I stayed in a King "Rotunda" Room and the view was horrible, the quality of the furnishings was surprisingly bad as the desk had deep peel and scratch marks and peeled away wood, or whatever it was. Not pleasant to see. The bed quality wasn't the greatest and overall I was really disappointed. The food was not that good either. I was just really not impressed being a "landmark" hotel for downtown, it was disappointing and not a good night overall. I expected better.

We paid over 700.00 for 2 nights to be welcomed by a filthy room with dirty laundry beneath one bed and trash beneath the other. The bathroom cleanliness was mediocre, at best. The toilet was nasty and clearly had not been cleaned following the previous guests.
