Travelers' Choice
At the Colcord Hotel, luxury means the gold standard of service and comfort. Luxury is the promise we keep to our guests, every day. Whether you're a business traveller or right-in towner, you will be greeted by our helpful staff and treated with abundant amenities. Stay for a night or for a while - we aim to exceed expectations and provide anything you may need, without even being asked. Refresh in one of our spacious guest rooms with L'Occitane bath and shower products, unwind with a relaxing playlist using the iPod docking station, and catch up with your favorite show on the 47-inch flat screen TV. All of our rooms have Euro-top mattresses with luxurious linens, complimentary bottled waters, soft robes, custom artwork, programmable safes, wireless desk phones, and desks with leather blotters. Bring your pups, too. We gladly accept up to two dogs per room, up to 50 pounds each for a fee of $75 per stay. When the Colcord Building was completed in 1910, at 12 stories, it was the first skyscraper in Oklahoma City. Every luxury of the time was incorporated in the construction, many of which remain today: The original marble still adorns the columns and walls of the main lobby; the original nickel and bronze letterbox and elevator doors still shine; and the original ornamental plaster ceiling still crowns the space. Though the building's trademark elegance and historic architectural elements have been preserved, the revamped Colcord now has an updated style and is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies that suit the needs of our guests.

For my first visit to OC, I chose this hotel after reading reviews on TA and scanning photos on their website. As soon as I entered my room, I felt disappointed. It was dark, dull and not nearly as ‘fresh’ as the photos on the hotel website. The room safety box wasn’t working and it took a day for the engineer to come and repair it. The staff were cordial at best and mostly lethargic. An example was even though i had paid for valet parking, when i asked to get something from my car, he painfully said it was a long walk for him to get to my car and made it clear that it was a real bother for him - so I just said forget it. The redeeming factor of this property was the Flint restaurant - which was really excellent and I highly recommend it.

Colcord is a lovely mixture of old style and new fresh furnishings. We had some glitches in our stay, our room it seemed was lost in time in that everything was broken or missing such as hangers, the phone, the door key, and the shuttle that is advertised on the website is not in use. We stayed a week so in that time, an wonderful repairman Scott fixed every issue and the somewhat cold desk response to the lack of shuttle (we were planning on using this and booked because of it), changed personel and it ended up to be a really nice stay. The restaurant is wonderful! The bartenders, Caleb, Matt, John and Sean went to every length as we ate there almost everyday due to our schedule. Rashee the waitress was also a lovely presence, the service is great and the food was amazing. The hotel is in an odd place as there isn’t much around it in general, like breakfast places or stores but there is a park and Bricktown is walkable. Our room was really nice, bed very comfy and top of the line linens and towels. There is a fridge with soft drinks and snacks at a cost but was nice to have as the restaurant closes between 2- 4 everyday. There is valet service and they are also on point. All in all a wonderful stay.

From check-in to check-out we enjoyed everything about our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and the service is simply outstanding - valets, registration, housekeeping and the restaurant (separate review on that). We were fortunate to stay in the Colcord Suite, which was simply amazing and well worth the price. Having a direct connection to the 50-story building next door was an added bonus as we had dinner at Vast our second night. Last but not least, the location puts you within easy walking distance of Bricktown, the Myriad Botanical Gardens (across the street) and even the National Memorial and Museum. It would be difficult to improve on anything, a very wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Colcord in October to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The rooms were great and the service was excellent. We loved the location and walked around the downtown area including Scissortail park. We also ate at Flint, which I highly recommend. I highly recommend the Colcord!

I can't say enough how amazing this hotel is and if your traveling on Route 66 West from the East on I-40 or old Route 66 this hotel is a MUST STOP on your overnight visit to the amazing OKC. The kids will love the amazing park down the street, the Route 66 Park , and this is the point where east meets west and you hit Route 66 FIRST. The staff, rooms, food, and all the luxuries are there. The Colcord is also the oldest hotel in OKC and was there before the Route was built so you know your at a place of history for sure. Enjoy a very relaxing night and amazing dinner or breakfast before you head west. Stop in OKC is a must for anyone heading on Route 66. Keep up now with the Route 66 Centennial and we will feature this hotel more soon. Thank you Colcord for the best stop of our trip. !!!!
