Was in OKC for a youth soccer tournament. The Hyatt Place employees were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The location was good. There's a Charleston's next door that was good for dinner.
I always hunt for a Hyatt Place when I travel, and the Hyatt Place OKC Airport did not disappoint. It met my lodging needs, coupled with a location both close to the airport and accessible to downtown.
The hotel is old trailer in the back. Air-conditioning systems are horrible they are so noisy when they go from Fan to compressor that sounds like a freight train coming through your room. I don’t think there’s any human being can sleep through that.
Room and Bathroom very clean. Breakfast good and warm. Front desk staff at check-in could have been a bit more pleasant, but overall a good place to stay…I would recommend this hotel to my family, friends and co-workers.
Quick trip and this Hyatt did not disappoint. The room was quiet & clean and checking in was simple. They even had a cookie available! I would recommend this Location. Even though it is located by the airport I did not hear any airplane traffic.
Very nice stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room and common spaces were very clean. Daily cleanup service was included. Modest but sufficient hot breakfast was included. I recommend the hotel
I booked this hotel specifically because my flight landed at 12:20 am and the info on Trip Advisor said their free shuttle runs from 5 am - 1 am…. Well, my flight landed on time at OKC at 12:20 am and nope, the shuttle shuts down at 12 midnight. Had to pay over $20 for a cab. When I asked at check-in about what happened with the shuttle, they said it had been stopping at 12 midnight now for some time and they didn’t know why Trip Advisor says otherwise. The room was big, very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Howling winds (60 - 70 mph) kept me up for a few hours, so not sure if the windows need new weather-stripping. On the way down to the free breakfast, saw several flight crews had stayed there so figured the breakfast must be pretty good. Was disappointed with the very small number of items offered. Hampton Inns offer more. Was quiet and safe with nice staff, just don’t expect much for breakfast. Plusses… the shuttle driver in the morning, and the front desk clerks were all very nice. …
The check in process and desk receptionist was friendly and quick. I was super hungry but unfortunately all that was available was an “adult lunchable” or bags of chips/snacks. The room looked to be okay, but there were distinct stains on the carpet that looked concerning. Made me question if the rest of the room was truly clean. Next morning there was coffee, cups and no lids to go. Frustrating.
We had a room with two double beds and a pull-out sofa. It was nice to have the separate sofa area for the kids to watch TV. Room and hotel were clean. Pool wasn't open this time of year, so I can't comment on that. The breakfast was not well stocked and offerings slim. It was hard to determine who was hotel staff unless they were standing directly behind the front desk - no name tags, VERY casual dress (I mistook most of them for hotel guests).
I have really been trying to give this place a chance. This is day 6 and I’ve had it. Four more to go and I’m praying it doesn’t get worse. I def do NOT recommend this place. I’ve stayed at other Hyatt Place locations and this is not the norm. At check in the lady barely said two words to me. Here’s your room keys. No info on anything. No housekeeping, no taking the trash or fresh towels nothing. Yeah I get Covid and short staffed. Well it’s time to start hiring people. As a matter of fact while waiting to check in a lady was inquiring about a job. There you go. I honestly don’t care if you come in my room every day. I prefer you not. I had to find a cart and ask for toilet paper and trash bags. The trash needed to go. I left the bag in the hall before leaving for work and 8 hours later it was still there. Seriously? The room across from me had garbage on the rug in front of their door for days. Nobody cleaned it. The breakfast is nothing like the pictures on their website. If you are counting on the breakfast in the morning you may want to consider another option. Very little selection and what they do offer is poor quality. The heater/ac unit sounds like a jet engine. It’s so loud. I have to keep turning it off to hear the TV and use ear plugs to sleep. The final straw was no hot water. When I called to report it the guy told me well other people may be also trying to shower. Ummm what? He suggested waiting an hour. He said they have had problems with it. Maybe he will put in a work order. You have got to be kidding me. I will def not stay here again and will recommend this is taken off the list of hotels that my employer recommends.…
