Call today to make us your home away from home. Heavener is best known for the Heavener Runestone just outside the city limits. The cryptic stone appears to have letters from the runic alphabet , which were possibly etched by pre-Columbian Norsemen. There is such an attraction that a state park has been erected around the mysterious rock. Due to this purported connection the nearby school Carl Albert State College in the city of Poteau changed its mascot in the early 1990s from the "Trojan" to the "Viking."

Making a solo bike trip and couldn't find a decent priced well rated place in Broken Bow, so changed itinerary. Picked this place based on Google reviews. I couldn't be happier! Yes, they are completely remodeling some rooms but I got a remodeled king roon for $60.00. I was expecting a motel 6 clone for the price but was amazed at the amenities in the room!! Beautifully remodeled! Excellent shower and they provided large bottles of Green bath products to use (no I don't believe they want you to take them, so I am not); hair dryer, coffee maker and phone. Safe area, able to get a ground floor so I could keep an eye on my bike. The room is small, but plenty big enough for one or two. Bed has a blanket and a nice heavy comforter with large king size pillows. Very comfortable. There is a Sonic right next door and across the street is a very good dinner called Southern Belle, built in an old train car that the hotel owner reccomended. I wasn't disappointed, and it wasn't because I was starving for real food after 2 days of convenience store munchies lol. Definently reccomend the Green Country Inn!

Our family stayed here for a family funeral. There was a half-eaten chicken in the microwave (microwave was dirty on the inside also), used hand lotion, used shampoo, and used conditioner, a cracked and peeling ceiling in the bedroom, the directv would not work until right before we left, and we were not given the WiFi password.

I've stayed in hotels twice as expensive but not as nice. Clean, comfortable accommodations. Beds are kind of high if you're short but I managed. TV's have DirecTV. Microwave, large minifridge with freezer, coffee maker. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Nice desk area with comfy chair. Black out curtain. Sonic right next door. For the price, you cannot beat this place!

We stayed here two nights because it was close to the Jeep trails. For the rate it was great. Fridge and microwave we're a plus also has wifi and direct TV. Was very clean and bed was comfortable. We will stay again for sure

This two story motel offers a decent place for the night with no frills. Parking is available right outside your door (for lower level). The room itself was clean, with a somewhat bed (a little concave and could stand to have its mattress rotated every so often for more even wear) and a decent shower. For $50, I was mostly satisfied and felt like I had a safe place for the night. There is a tv, fridge and microwave in the room as well. I felt that for the quality of the room the price should have been around $5-10 less. A train could be heard faintly at one point and the worst noise was someone outside my door for several hours revving their engine as well a truck idling also for hours. I can't blame the hotel but have to wonder what the heck they were doing; it caused me a great disturbance and disrupted my sleep as it was very early this morning. Less noise and a lesser rate would have me give this place 3.5 star if half stars could be given.
