In need of updating. Stayed in the Sky Tower and is i believe the newest tower.
Clean and well kept. Shows how easy it is to keep cleaner when this is a no smoking tower. There is a walkway link into the older and main building and don't you know it when you walk through to the smoking area. Unfortunately the smoking sections will never go away.
Room was big and spacious on the 12 floor , bathroom has a sliding door into it. Nice bathroom and shower.
Hotel itself is worth a 4 star rating
Free coffee and cold drinks dotted around the area
Very quite time od year August and most the tables closed in the smoke free zone during the day and early evening. Might be the time of year though

Food
Choices very poor unless you like fast food and poor quality. Some restaurants serve the food on trays and dont bother with plates, other restaurants you get a plate but not great service .Again this may be due to the time of the year. In one of the better restaurants the food was served cold and i had to return the food. Waiter had no issues though, very professional and polite . There is a Steak Restaurant but it was empty so we gave it a miss. The best meal we was a sandwich at the pool .

The Pool
Excellent , lovely place to read a book. Music not to loud and beer at the swim up bar reasonably price $7.00 for a bottle of bud. Adult only pool great and there is a pool for adults and children close by. Didn't understand the point of wrist bands, lost mine and walked in and out without one on, and not asked to present it.

Overall worth a visit , but would not return due to the food choices as outside of the Resort is nothing as it is in the middle of know where .
Shame as it has great potential

We paid well over $400 a night for the weekend. The room was ok. Shower had some mold in it and the toilet paper is the equivalent to gas station toilet paper. I've stayed at lower end hotels with better toilet paper. For $400 a night I expect to at least match the big hotel chains standard for these types of things. They do provide choctaw branded masks and hand sanitizer which was nice and kind of expected when paying over $400 a night.
We rented a 1/2 day cabana at the resort Oasis pool. $250 and we received a dirty cabana(like food and ashes on the glass table) and the service was not as expected. Took over 45 minutes to get two bottled beers at one point. When booked I read that the Guy Fieri restaurant was the poolside menu. When we tried to order food we were told that we could only order papa John's. Very disappointing.

We did utilize the spa. Services provided were great. Facilities had some mold growing, co Ed area had mold and rust, and Womens hot tub had a very dirty hand rail to the hot tub, and the tile at the steps had heavy black mold. Steam room also had some mold growing. The ceilings looked like they had some repairs and they forgot to finish painting.

Bamboo noodle bar also served use a raw chicken egg roll. When I brought to the expo lady she said it wasn't chicken it was pork and it would not make me sick. (The wonton wrapper in the inside was gooey and the chicken was pink, like translucent raw meat pink). I told her the menu says chicken, and she said they ran out of chicken and the cashier was supposed to tell people but wasn't. Regardless, it was cold and raw. An apology was given but that was it. So I paid for it and didn't eat it because it wasn't edible. I didn't have time to argue because we had a spa appointment to go to.

The new Sky tower is nice and non smoking. We stayed in the Grand tower, which was quite a walk to get to the new tower.

It's not every day that you turn 60. We booked this hotel not realizing the pool that we have loved in the past was closed for renovation. I checked in with Bridget. She was curt and not friendly. We found about about the pool being closed but she said there is a new pool, but our room was "over there" as she swung her arm in the direction of our room. I sheepishly asked if it was a good room. She said "what do you mean a good room?" I said, well you know, with a decent view. It's my 60th birthday today. She said "you don't even have a room, rooms aren't ready until 3 pm". I told her I wanted to pay cash to which she said housekeeping would have to come check over the room the next day. I let her know that I was providing a credit card for incidentals. Again, I let her know it was my 60th birthday because I really just wanted her to smile and say happy birthday. She replied "I heard you before, but there's just a lot of work involved when someone is paying cash". Give this lady a job cleaning toilets and away from people. This is not the first impression you want to leave. I walked away to Rewards Desk and told them how I was treated. They were surprised and suggested I go back and hopefully get someone nicer. I went back and Phyllis took care of me! This girl not only got me a room immediately, she also moved me to the Sky Tower where the pool was located. I was never even offered that before. I was scheduled for a total knee replacement the following week, so this meant the world to me. What a different Phyllis made in all of our attitudes. The rest of the trip was great fun. Our room was immaculate and a great location. I will say that the Sky Tower is definitely a younger crowd vibe with the 20-30 year olds hanging out and a lot of techno music, but we still had fun. I am hoping that the other pool might be for the older crowd. Thank you Choctaw for a great stay.

SKY TOWER KING DELUXE
For the money we paid for a one night stay ($600) this was very much below standard. To begin the room had NO closet or hanging space at all okay for me but my wife needed to hang things up and decide she was going to wear. There was nothing to tell us where everything could be located in the resort and no 'do not disturb' sign to be found (other doors had them already up). The sliding door to the balcony wouldn't lock and the bathroom still had hairs and gunk from a previous visitor. Finally there was very poor water pressure from the shower. You may wonder why we never complained about this well we arrived in the room at 5pm and were there to see a concert at 7.30 and didn't fancy waiting around for things to be put right. We made our way to the casino and as we were a bit hungry we stopped at Guy Fieri's restaurant and shared chicken tenders and and some fries. The fries were very good thankfully but the chicken was dry and tasteless. The following morning we went to a restaurant that had a buffet breakfast at $30 per person. The eggs bacon and sausage were all cold by the time we got back to our table but at least the coffee was good and hot.
Now the good bits:- the bartender at the first bar we went to was great made us some lovely cocktails, gave us a map of the resort and showed us where we had to go for the concert. The event staff were brilliant and were very helpful and knowledgeable and could not help enough. The concert was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours. After spending some time looking round the casino which looked nice and fairly clean and then we spent an hour or so back at the original bar having late evening drinks and although a different staff member was working she was very nice and was also a credit to the resort. We then made our way back to our disappointing room.

Bottom line, the hotel cares nothing about your satisfaction and provides no service at all. We went last year same time and service was okay. This year was awful. Stayed 3 nights. Beds extremely uncomfortable, pillows even worse. Was not informed you had to request your room to be cleaned/bed made, new towels etc and you had to do it the day before you wanted the service. Never told this. Requested from front desk twice after the fact, never came and made the bed or brought us new towels. Water pressure horrible in the shower. Complained and requested maintenance. Never sent anyone up to look at it. A/C in room was intermittent and didn't work all night. Phone in room didn't work so each time we needed to request something we had to go down to the front desk. Worst part is the Aqua Pool is not part of the casino. 1st day in the pool my husband stepped on glass and cut his foot. YES broken glass in the pool. All that they would offer us is a $25 food credit. We tried to talk to management at the hotel and was informed they couldn't do anything for us as far as better compensation because they were separate entities. We will not be going back.

Not as great as I expected. We checked in and the room looked so run down. The furniture had multiple scratches, some pretty large, and looked to be at least 20 years old. The ceiling had a very ugly stain on it. The headboard was greasy and had a big hand print on it… I’ll leave it to your imagination as to why that was there. The bathroom counter had a big bottle of industrial strength sanitizing spray left from the cleaning crew. The chair had something left on it, I never figured out what it was but it looked like food. For $300 a night, I expected so much more.

But on to the resort itself.

We ate dinner at Guy’s and my burger was so undercooked it was disgusting to eat, and didn’t have any flavor. I also ordered the strawberry margarita, and for $13 I expected it to be pretty large, but it came in a small plastic cup. We spent over $70 on our meal and we were not impressed with it at all.

We attended a concert at the Grand Theater and that experience was nice.

There are a TON of casino games if that’s your thing. Unfortunately for me, it’s not really my thing so I actually got bored after the concert. I found that there’s really not much to do there if you’re not playing casino games.

We went to Gilly’s to watch the live band, but they quit playing at around 11:00. After they quit playing, they just played line dancing songs until about 1:00 am. Last call for drinks was 1:00 am, even though the bar closes at 2:00 am. Then at 1:30 am, casino security started making people leave the bar. I told them I would leave at 2:00 when the bar closed, but they said they were closing “now”. So maybe the casino should change the posted closing hour to 1:30 am instead of 2:00 am?

All-in-all, I had a decent time, but I just don’t think $300 for the room was fair at all. The room we were given wasn’t worth more than $100. I won’t stay there again, that’s for sure.

I have been frequenting this casino for years and it’s gone from almost a 5 star establishment to a 4 star (fake) more like 3 star establishment for to their hospitality being a big goose egg, food unless you eat at the steak house 1832 is all garbage/ fast food for $$, the rooms are average or below depending on whether or not you get one that’s been used and not cleaned Si have several times in the past few years. The spots are ok however when you see Slot that says OUT OF ORDER that usually means it’s been shot off for a high roller so no average person can win what they have lost. The casino fails to honor many Onyx perks so don’t bother your better off sitting at Royal or even sapphire. VIP hosts are clowns in a nutshell and the entire management team that I’ve had an interaction with should be replaced with the homeless people who frequent the property they have more knowledge than the average manager. Oh and if you mention Gary Barton the chief unless it’s about a win they say the chief has nothing to do with the casino.

First of all, their restaurants are only open on the weekends! We had no idea! We came in late Thursday and, having had a late lunch, tried to find somewhere to eat about 10 PM. NOTHING was open! So we went to a little store, in the casino, and bought microwaveable ravioli and mac & cheese, only to get to our 14th floor SUITE to find there was NO microwave!
Secondly, we were mainly there for the Keith Urban concert; we'd purchased tickets almost a year ago. We had front row seats and we very excited about the concert. Then we were seated and realized that what they call a "pit" is actually SRO (standing room only)! So we purchased expensive seats only to find that all we were going to see were the backs of hundreds of people in front of us! A pit, is generally lower than the seating behind it! Lesson learned; any future concerts we attend there will be in the upper section for a lot less money! And we won't be coming in 2 days prior to the concert, since there isn't anywhere to eat.
There is a new section to the casino, which is light, bright and inviting. The older part id dirty, dingy and depressing. The seats in the older section are coming apart! No one cleans in the casinos; cups, used disinfectant wipes, etc. are on the machines and left to the guests to clean if you want to play that machine. Twice, there were no paper towels in the men's restrooms.

I would not leave a negative review without speaking with management first to see if the issue could be resolved. However, we were informed that management was far too busy to see us.
Upon arrival, the valet called for a cart and someone to help us with our luggage. We stood out in the hot sun for about forty minutes before giving up and hauling all of our bags (no cart) to the room ourselves. We finally reached our room only to find that our door lock was broken and we had to stand out in the hall while we waited for it to be repaired so that we could enter the room. The first evening, we could not sleep because of a very noisy neighbor. Security knocked on the door several times but they would not answer their door. Security and the hotel staff said that could hear the noise from way down the hallway. The hotel offered to move us, which we greatly appreciated, even though it was 1:00 a.m. (Carol was very helpful in assisting us with the move!) They also comped us $50.00 for room service. However, when we called for room service the next day, we were informed that it was not available because they were short staffed. Then, after a long day at the pool, we returned to our room to find that there was no water. The hotel had no water until much later that night. On our last night, of a three night stay, the air conditioning went out in our room. Finally, we had a 50 minute wait at the valet because they “lost the keys” to our car. We do understand that many businesses are short staffed at this time, but it was all just too much. We definitely will not be returning to this resort!

Short day visit to the casino on our way through OK.

Good customer service and very quick service and good food at the food court.

Casino was clean and well maintained. Main casino and hotel has both smoking and smoke-free portions. The central casino area (called Link Casino is the non-smoking section).

Newest and best area is the Sky Casino, Sky Tower and associated Aqua Pool & Resort area.
