We stayed in the Crimson Star Cabin. It was awesome. Everything we needed was there. Just brought food. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was very clean both inside and outside the property. We had a group of 10 including 4 children. Everyone had a great time. Plenty of room for all of the family. I would highly recommend this cabin.
We stayed at the Cowboy Cabin over Fall Break. Cabin was tidy. The outdoor fireplace was a huge selling point for us, however, as soon as we arrived on Wednesday we found the outdoor fireplace to not be working and the hot tub at 50 degrees (was told cleaning lady didn't turn it back up took around 5 hours to heat it up) as well as the upstairs toilet handle to be broke (had to take tank lid off to flush it and it ran nonstop). We called and they came out 3 times finally on Friday we were told they had to order a part for the fireplace. They offered to bring a replacement fireplace out. Well it was a single room fireplace. It was so tiny it didn't do anything with the 44 degree low in the morning. Every trip we've never had issues till now. I know its out of their hands (having to order a part) but some type of reimbursement would have been nice instead of a "replacement" that was no where near the original. Won't be staying in this cabin or with this company again. Disappointing.…
The Bradley cabin at Last Resort was fully stocked with the things we needed. The cabin was nice inside. We were disappointed that it was really close to other cabins on a compound. Not described that way in the description. It said there was wifi in the cabin. No there was wifi router on a pole outside in the middle of the common area. You had to go outside to use it. It rained so that was a no go. The hot tub needs a step to get in. It is very difficult to take the top off and get it back because of the tight space. If you don't mind staying in a neighborhood then this is the cabin for you. If you want peace and quiet go somewhere else.
For the Dragonfly: Pros: The bed was very comfy, there was nicely provided cookware, AC worked great, extra linens provided, stereo surround for music inside, Satalite TV & Music, fantastic location next to the parks, food, and other activities nearby, hot tub was nice and hot, trees provided cover from rain Cons The Grill is broken poses a fire hazard, water had a distinctive smell, VERY close to other cabins with kids, Roku stick didn't work, stereo doesn't stay at set volume
This was my 3rd stay with this company. Everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, kitchen fully stocked with pots, boles and utensils. The hot tub says come get, I'm hot and ready. We needed service for what turned out to breaker and outlet to be re set. Serive guy was so promptly and quick.
The cabin is well worth the money. All we had to do was show up with ourselves and food. Hot tub was ready and towels were available. The tranquility was amazing. The cabin was immaculate, with a full kitchen and full size refrigerator. Appliances, cutlery, cooking utensils, cups, and wine glasses were provided.
We stayed in the cabin “4 R Escape” the cabin was exactly as in the pictures, clean, well stocked, and comfortable. It sleeps 4 adults very comfortable and had two addition roll away beds that young children could use. Our party of four adults had a wonderful escape. This w as a four star experience on a three star budget.
We stayed at the cabin called Captain John Smith. It is decent but the customer service Janet gave was not. We left something and called to see if she could go get it before the cleaning crew came that day and just ship it to us. Nope. She said she wasn’t going out of her way to make a “special” trip to the cabin. I would not recommend because she obviously doesn’t care about the people that stay at her cabin. She just wants the money. We also went to Janet’s Treasure Chest and I’m sure it’s a great place but the workers there were extremely rude. I wouldn’t give a penny to anything Janet owns. Take it elsewhere to someone who values there customers and their experience.
I booked a non-smoking cabin for a week. I opened the door, and got sucker punched with nicotine. I called to the management company to inform them. The woman that answered the phone yells, “you’re WRONG! You CLEARLY don’t the difference between wood smoke and cigarette smoke, especially in a small cabin.” She hung up on me. She called back five minutes later, to say I could plug in a tiny air purifier to clear the “wood smoke odor” out of our cabin. It didn’t help chase away the cigarette smoke scent at all. Our family was staying in a nearby cabin, and smelled the cigarette smoke on us immediately. I just started unpacking at home, and absolutely everything stinks. The kitchen was more than adequate, and we had plenty of towels, but it was not overly clean. The tub has mold around the jets, and the shower nozzle hangs sideways from a nail on the wall. The bed is a bit wobbly, and the mattress is extremely old. It has two permanent, deep indentations from being slept on. I was extremely disappointed in the management company. They made it VERY clear that guest comfort is of absolutely no importance after they have collected payment. They were rude, and simply don’t care. I have loved coming to Beaver’s Bend for 10 years, but will never rent a cabin from Beavers Bend Lodging again due to their poor customer service. …
Brought my family up for a weekend getaway after thanksgiving. I have stayed in several cabins over the last 10 years. The red cedar cabin was a step above. While it looked like much of the other cabins the amenities where a step above. The grill was clean and quite nice. The pots and pans were new. Several towels and bedding that made the trip much more comfortable. It also had a nice outdoor ambience. Fire pit and hot tub well maintained. Outdoor dining area well appointed. While it is a little further from the fishing spots this cabin was worth the drive. Nice job!
