We were moving from Denver and stopped here overnight. From the outside its your typical motel; single level structure and in all honesty kind of sketchy looking. That said, its obvious the owners take pride in their product because the rooms were very clean, the bathrooms recently re-grouted, nice flat screen tvs, and comfortable beds. There was also a large... More

Older Motel, but clean. Bed was comfy, water pressure not that good. Wi-Fi was good. Friendly check in, although a bit hard to understand at times. Did ask for a handicapped bathroom, was told the tub had a seat, but the room we got didn't. Couldn't quite communicate what we wanted, the clerk was confused by thinking we wanted a... More

At first glance this place looks like a million others from days gone by where you park right outside your room. Once inside though, you can tell the owners work very hard to keep everything spotless. Linens looked new, no musty odors. We both slept very well and I would stope here again.

Stayed here while traveling through Oklahoma. Don't know why it is listed as a B&B on Tripadvisor. It is definitely an old school motel like I remember as a kid. Don't let the outside and location fool you. This motel is very clean. There are no frills and it seems like the decor was designed by a very boring person.... More

We stayed at the Townsman last year and had a great experience - super clean rooms, fast wifi, and a great price. We paid $55 for a room which seemed about right given the middle-of-nowhere location and an abundance of chain budget motels to the south. This year it seems they raised their prices - at least for guests stopping... More

This motel was very basic- a safe clean place to spend the night when traveling through Oklahoma. We came to this small town in the middle of nowhere very late at night, braced for the worst. Pleasantly surprised by friendly staff and very clean room. Not one complaint! I suspect this business is family owned, and that they take pride... More

This may be the best you can get in the middle of nowhere. The plumbing works well, the beds are good, the TV gets local channels clearly. If you want good coffee, HBO, a homey atmosphere, or a low rate, you may want to keep driving. The room lighting was florescent, though the table lamps were incandescent. The door lock... More

Not many choices in this small town, but this place worked out just fine. The best part was probably the family that owns and runs the motel. The room was clean and quiet and we have no complaints. Pretty plain Jane. Our reservation was done correctly.

The location proved to be our best option on a drive from Kansas City to Santa Fe. The town has few options for lodging--or about anything. Room was very freshly painted. Bathroom was clean and had more than ample space (some new places you barely miss the toilet when you go to close the door). We were grateful for polite... More

The room seemed pretty clean, no real choices for many miles. The bathroom had no fan but was very clean, nicer height toilet than most. Slept good, Somebody has been trying to keep this up, so nice job.
