A delightful place with an exceptionally friendly proprietor who was eager to share experiences with her guests. The room was very quiet and had every amenity. Ideally placed to many local restaurants as well as close by car to several attractions. The owner, who studied for a time in a French culinary school, takes great delight in making innovative breakfasts each day. These breakfasts include desserts! (Pro tip: have in your room some fruit as these French-inspired breakfasts are fruit-free). Plenty of parking; free WI-FI. Lots of hot water in the shower.

We agree with all the good feedback here -- we had a very pleasant four-day stay and enjoyed both the inn and the town. Our host, Dee, really wanted us to be comfortable and have a good visit. She kindly allowed us to use her washer/dryer on a 'turnover' day when it wasn't needed otherwise. Breakfasts were hearty enough to sustain you for a whole day.

We spent a wonderful 2 nights in the Art Room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was friendly, helpful and prepared fabulous breakfasts. It is worth the stay to be able to have their breakfasts. Willoughby is a quaint, clean town with lots of shops and restaurants. If you go I would strongly recommend staying at The Homestead. John T

This a beautiful little hidden gem. The room my husband I stayed was a cozy, quiet room that included a deep and long claw foot tub, along with a separate shower. The greatest surprise was the home cooked breakfast that was absolutely amazing. Dee, the hostess was so personable and we just loved the stories she shared about her life and the history of the house. She is an amazing cook and went out of her way to make us feel like we were staying with a member of our family. I am imagining what dinner would be like there. If you want an amazing cozy getaway, I highly recommend.

Would give more than 5 stars if allowed. Breakfast was outstanding. The host is a fantastic cook and pastry chef and dessert at breakfast was an unexpected delight. Lovely room, lovely home, wonderful host. Highly recommend. If we are ever back in the area, or anywhere near, we will definitely stay again! Check out Hook and Hoof around the corner - we had an amazing dinner there. Unique menu that did NOT disappoint. Call direct rather than going thru online site to book as it allows quicker and more direct communication with the host, and saves them a lot in booking fees. Thanks for a terrific stay. -Proud Purdue parents

We recently had the occasion to spend 2 nights at this incredible B & B in the quaint village of Willoughby, Ohio. Not only were we impressed with our rooms ( we were a party of 4 adults) But also the lovely breakfast served at our convenience. The owner "D" and her assistant Bonnie could not have more pleasant and personable during our stay. It's located in the heart of the downtown area with several amenities Nearby. If your looking for an extremely clean, Quiet, and well maintained place to stay I highly recommend this business.

Such a fun experience staying at the Homestead B&B. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Dee was a fabulous hostess who aims to please. She accommodated my gluten free needs and told intriguing stories of all the world travelers that have enjoyed staying at the Homestead. Would definitely recommend this delightful place.

Beautiful B&B. Great location. Dee is a wonderful chef and we really enjoyed when she sat down and chatted with us after she had served our breakfast. Our room was spacious, very clean and cozy and we couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of our stay. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends and we will be back!

The weekend was a gift from our son and his wife for Mothers Day. We never stayed in a B&B before but WOW this was so much better than our expectations! The rooms were fantastic and the food and hospitality were beyond exceptional! Dee was the best! Can't wait for our next visit!

My husband and I recently visited Willoughby for a family event which was a bit last minute and Dee could not have been nicer setting up some fabulous accommodations which we enjoyed for 6 days. The highlight for sure were her amazing Breakfasts. After being served a delicious breakfast, she followed that with a delicious dessert and every morning it was different and just as good as the day before. So forget your diet and just enjoy! It's in downtown Willoughby which is a nice downtown with coffee shops, good restaurants and a nice place to take walks. We happened to be there during the Rib Fest which was a lot of fun. We absolutely loved our stay and will be repeat customers for sure so thanks Dee :)
