Manger Jagpal is very Professional. I been come to Columbus for 15 years and he always works with me with reservations, delays, stay overs or last minute reservations, Rooms and facilities always clean, Staff is very courtesy, family ran and family-orient, safe area, walking distance to local variety of fast food, restaurants and shopping. 5 mins to Easton Mall,15 mins Polaris Mall by car, uber/lyft or busline. COURESTY breakfast and private outdoor pool.
I had to stop using this Red Roof lnn. The beds are way too high, and a disabled person can't safely get in, and out. It just is so hard, and not safe. It would be good practice to at least lower the beds, to normal heights, in the handicapped rooms. I know a lot of people feel this way.
Unlike most Red Roof Inns, this one has not been renovated (at least this was true of my room that smelled of smoke). The building is old, but the room was comfortable and had everything I needed: refrigerator, microwave, desk and enough electrical outlets for charging all my devices. There was plenty of room to walk my dog. The pool was closed for the season, but I noticed that it was handicapped accessible, and there was a lovely picnic area with barbecue grills. Continental breakfast available, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was pleasant and professional.
I booked a room at Red Roof Inn Northeast-Westerville because I was looking for an inexpensive place to rest my head after a concert in the arena district downtown. I know that Westerville is very nice therefore decided this hotel might work for us. There were 4 people in my group and the hotel did let us check in upon arrival about 30 minutes before check in time. Check in was easy, and we were in our room less than 10 minutes after arrival. Our room was a standard small room, with a TV, refrigerator, 2 full beds, sink and vanity and bathroom. The beds were clean, shower and toilet and sink were clean however the attention to detail was lacking with dirt around the doorknobs, on the walls and the corners and baseboards in the bathrooms were dirty. There were no tissues in the tissue box, 1 bottle of shampoo, and one bar of soap and 1 roll of toilet paper. It was just a sign that the bare minimum is done to keep things going in that hotel. I had 4 in my party and we had 2 towels in the room, when I asked the front desk for a couple more the woman looked at me suspiciously, I told her I had 2 towels and 4 people, we weren't going to share towels! The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, the knob on the shower was opposite of the what it said, C for hot and H for cold! The continental breakfast consisted of watered down orange and apple juice, the worst tasting coffee I ever had, I think the machine needs a good cleaning and then the food was apples or bananas, 2 kinds of cereal and milk, and some mini cinnamon donuts still in the package or honey bun type donuts. Again bare minimum. It did feel a little unsafe although we had no incident, just didn't feel like the safest place to stay. Overall, it was an affordable option to rest our heads for 1 night , it took us about 15 minutes to travel downtown and about 7 minutes to get to Easton Town Center the next morning. It is in close proximity to Rt 270 which will get you just about anywhere you want to go in Columbus. There is also easy access in and out of the hotel and right back on the highway if needed. Although I would not stay here again, it is exactly what it is, low price, low quality but ok for 1 night stay.…
Yes, it was a really pleasant stay at the Westerville location in July. The bed was soft and comfortable. Sheets were clean and soft. Nice clean towels.:D Air conditioning was perfect. Newly painted room with new fixtures. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Thanks a lot to the very friendly and pleasant staff too. See you next time!
