We stayed here for family weekend at U of T. The front desk staff here is nice and did offer suggestions for breakfast when asked. This is the only reason for any stars… Now the room, on the positive side the towels were clean and the bedding seemed clean. If you were missing the mattress that your grandma had in her extra bedroom in 1990, look no further it is here. The outlets in the room seem to no longer be attached to the electrical box. And the drywall was cut out around at least one of the faceplates. This made it nearly impossible to plug into the outlet. Finally, plugged into the outlet on the lamp, but to use the Apple plug you have to slide the lamp all the way to the edge of the table. The walls, switch plates and doors could use a wipe down. I actually bought Lysol wipes and wiped down the counter, desk, door, switches and handles just to feel like I could sleep here. I think it is time for a coat of paint and fresh carpet. That alone would make this hotel seem much cleaner.

Bed Bugs! High-school Marching Band stayed 2 nights at the hotel for a competition at the University Many students had bed bug bites. Disgusting. Tried to contact them. They clearly do not care at all. Looking at TripAdvisor this is not the first time they had this issue.

20 year old mattresses with egg crate toppers. Stains and rips on everything Really really gross I couldn't believe they actually think a person would stay there. It's like an old druggie motel. We saw 2 rooms aand demanded a refund.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sad knowing that your stay was anything less than pleasing due to the cleanliness and condition of the mattresses, room and facility during that visit. We make it a point to put in extra effort to ensure cleanliness and proper presentation of our facilities are carefully attended to and we are sorry if we fell short of that expectation. We greatly value your feedback and it will be shared with our team for further improvements to our hotel. We look forward to having you back so that we may redeem ourselves and provide you an even better guest experience in the future.

You can tell this hotel was once a nice busy hotel. It is fairly large and has ballrooms, but you can tell it hasn't been cared for in years. It appears they are trying to run this hotel as long as they can until it no longer can remain open. The hotel is indicative of how the city is deteriorating. The pool is closed and one of the elevators is not working. I would not stay on a high floor if your forced to stay here. We paid way too much to stay here. They charge a luxury rate for a motel 6 atmosphere. The 2 staff members we encountered were friendly. Rooms are surfaces clean but not deep cleaned, very dusty and food under tv cabinet. The bathroom was clean and shower was good. I have to say I am used to staying in 5 star hotels so this place was a bit of a shock to me.

We chose the Radisson because they have a pool and their hotels are usually pretty nice. We arrived to find the pool is closed indefinitely "for maintenance". So was just about everything else there - hot tub, restaurant, bar. The work out room was open, but that was it. We were advised that we couldn't get a refund because of this either. Aside from the above, the place was pretty dismal. We were greeted by a puddle of spilled milk & trash at the main entrance. The sidewalk leading to hotel lobby from parking lot was covered in ice/snow. The ice machine on the first floor, the only floor that housed any guests, was out of order. I am amazed that the Radisson would even put their name on this dump. And they're still charging about $100 a night! JUST AWFUL!!

Thank you for posting a review. We apologize for the concerns you shared about your experience during your stay with us. We will address the issues of the hotel with the cleanliness, condition of the parking, availability of the pool, hot tub, restaurant, bar, ice machine as well as the level of service you received from the staff and raise it to the specific department for further improvements. We are sorry to hear that it was not up to its best state at that time. Certainly, this is not the kind of service we would want any of our guest to have. While we understand if you do not wish to return, we’d love to have the opportunity to welcome you back to ensure your full confidence.
