We pulled in to the Sandusky KOA last night for a one night stay as we were traveling through the area. I read complaints about train noises but decided to stay here anyway and it really wasn't a problem. We could here them but it didn't wake us or bother us. The campground is located well if you are planning... More

One night stop was just perfect. Plenty of space, but not all had waster and electric. Nice little store that stays open late. The bathrooms were okay, but about 3-stars. The staff was friendly. A mix of concrete pads, gravel and grass. A good amount of trees too.

After spending 13 days camping and driving across country we arrived at the Sandusky KOA, for the last night of our trip. We had spent the majority of our previous nights at other KOAs but we had never experienced a KOA like this one. There were HUNDREDS of tent sites all crammed in next to each other with zero privacy... More

We stayed in one of the rental trailers and it was not worth the money $800 for the week. One of our friends was in another trailer and woke up with all bug bites. The drive-through sites were very close to each other with virtually no extra parking if you had another vehicle with you. The pool was supposed to... More

Nice location to cedar point, camp sites are tight, pool is nice. Great office store with everything you need that you forgot, ice cream and coffee in the morning! Trains go through campground at all hours day & night so not very peaceful.

This one of the best koas we have stayed at. It's very clean and quiet. The staff is wonderful! We got up to go to breakfast and my Jeep wouldn't start so I went to the office and it was less than 5 mins Ray (I think his name was) was there to jump my Jeep. It could of been... More

If you are going to cedar point and going to be out all day and dead tired when you return then stay otherwise run. It is dirty a premium site is not up to KOA standards. There is a train that goes by about every 15 minutes and YES at night too and blows its horn. There are hundreds of... More

It was a nice campground. We have liked every KOA that we have stayed at. Our only issues was that there wasn't as much grass so it made our site muddy and that's where we ended up having to put our tent, in the muddy area. Overall will be back again when we come down to CP!

The campground advertises level sites, Wifi, cable, etc. We have stayed at KOA's all over the country and this is the second to worst campground we have ever stayed at and left after one night although we paid for two. We paid $67.50 per night's stay for a site that was less than mediocre and just terrible comparable to many,... More
