We were EXTREMELY disappointed to find out at check in that were not allowed access to the bay of lake or anywhere near the water because someone had rented out the entire section by the lake for their birthday party and it was fenced off. We probably should have just left at that point, but we had been driving for... More

We stayed one night here and with friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and a very quiet tenting area it was exactly what I hoped for! The bay overlook area was a bit under-whelming but we were surprised by how pleasant this quieter KOA was!

The camping is situated at 5 min from the Cedar Point amusement park. The site itself is quite clean and has a nice (yet mostly overcrowded) pool. While our stay they were in the process of building a new pool ... 30 feet from our campsite. Add these works to the proximity of trains, highway and normal maintenance and you... More

This KOA has been our mainstay for as long as we have been going to Cedar Point (22 years, now, as a family). We have tent camped, but we also have a pop up trailer we have taken many, many times. This campground is huge, and they are constantly working on improvements. (They are currently working on a new pool.)... More

Staff was great at the koa, they were friendly. The campsites were extremely close together, maybe 8 feet between each spot. The pool was very cloudy. Please ask to use the gem mine, they were very accommodating but you have to ask. The jumping pillow ended up with a hole, the basketball court is being repaired, and the train is... More

After reading the many (negative) reviews for this campground I was very nervous to be staying in one of their cabins. Our cabin was one of the deluxe cabins and it was gorgeous. You are close to other campers, but you seem to have your own space. Very comfortable campground, very clean and friendly! There was still plastic on some... More

We stayed here at a premium site for a weekend visit to Cedar Point. Everything was as advertised - friendly staff, nice clean pool, and well-spaced sites. Each site on the section where I stayed had a patio with table and chairs, fire pit and rocking love seat - this made the site feel very spacious and comfortable. I do... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Cedar Point. The RV spaces were ao close together I felt like we were tailgating instead of camping. The bathrooms were very clean as was the laundry. Just depends what type of camping you are looking for. The spots for tents were a little less parking lot like. Kids enjoyed play... More

Decided to stay here because it was good on the wallet. Stayed in a tent on a site with electric. We has 8 of us using two sites. Sites were very clean and the campground was quiet and not busy at all. Pool was very nice. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Sites were a little small but that ended up... More

I have been going to this campground for over 20+ years. From a tent & pop-up when my son was young. To a trailer and now I rent a park model with the grandkids when we go to Cedar Point. I have watched it grow. I think people forget how much it costs to stay else where around there. I... More
