I read the reviews and thought it can't be that bad. We would be on property and easy, right? Not really. The rooms smell bad and the broken screened in porch on 1st floor didn't give any view and covered in dirt and bugs. You have to wall through the campground..though waterpark to get to CP. I would go somewhere...

The main thing you have to consider before you stay at Sandcastles is the hotels proximity to the park. I will agree with the other reviews that this hotel has alot of stuff to improve on. The view you get from your hotel room though is very breath taking.

For $360/night this hotel is a huge disappointment... it's dirty, the breakfast is expensive and awful like everything else in Cedar Point. The pull out sofa mattress must have been on there since the park opened at the turn of the century - my poor children could barely sleep on it was so rickety. It might have nothing on it...

For the price for one night I expected a little bit more. But I read the reviews before we stayed here so I knew what to expect. The best part about this hotel was the location being so close to the park. And the view of the lake. But the fact that the screened in porch was covered with bug...

This is the second year we stayed at Sandcastle Suites because of the location, early entry, and cheaper cost than staying at the Breakers. I had hoped that it would be better this year than last, but it wasn't. It isn't awful, but balanced against the cost this just isn't a good deal to us anymore. The room was clean...

I can not believe people would pay 300 dollars a night to stay in this dump. It is dirty and rundown. We found gummy snacks, leftover nacho chips, and change on the floor when we checked in. The carpet was dirty, and the bedspreads were disgusting. The furniture looks like what would be in a motel that you would pay...

The sandcastle suites at cedar point is not what I expected. I love cedar point but my first stay at sandcastle suites was not as I was hoping. Especially for the price. It's really outdated and run down. When we entered the room For the first time it was covered by an inch of dirt on the floor and all...

The best aspect of Sandcastle Suites is it's location -- a few minutes walk to the Resorts entrance of Cedar Point and its waterpark, and about a 10 minute walk to Hotel Breakers and its restaurant and active beach. And if anything is too far of a walk, free shuttle service within the resort is available. Also a plus was...

I took my son and his friend to Cedar Point for my son's 16th birthday. Since I don't do amusement parks, I decided to get a room at the Sandcastle so that they would be in close proximity to the park and I could have my chill time. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel in terms of the...

There is no question that this hotel is in a stunning location and easy for Soak City. But it was a pricy stay and fell short of the mark in a few places. Firstly awful staff. I know resorts like this rely on seasonal workers but TRAIN YOUR STAFF. I am sure I knew more about the area in one...
