I stayed here for a night while visiting Cedar Point. It was decent but I’m not sure I’d stay here again. The place seems a bit worn and in need of an update. The price was the best thing about the hotel.

Nice hotel. Big. Clean. A good place to stay. Bad part over 30 kids took over indoor pool area. No one else could use it all weekend. They need adult poor hours. Close to a lot of attractions. And restaurants. Lake Erie close by.

Christine at the front desk was very nice and professional on check-in. I booked a king room w/ jacuzzi. The hotel is non-smoking, but my room had a very strong cigarette odor. Someone attempted to cover it up with spray fragrance. The room itself was mostly clean - but dated and with some mold around the tub. The jacuzzi is motion activated & there are no instructions. It isn't obvious how to turn it on, so I had to call the front desk and ask. Once I got it working, it was fine, but very loud. Loud enough to disturb the person in the next room who began banging on the wall at me. (It wasn't even late, about 9 p.m.) so that was a short lived luxury. I decided to watch TV, but it didn't work. It was stuck on a blue screen. The remote also didn't work. I again called the front desk and was told I had to fiddle with the settings. Which I tried, to no avail. So I just went to bed. The next evening after work the hallways had a very strong pot smell. Party going on in another room. I dined in the onsite restaurant, very limited menu. Our server/bartender, Cortez, was great. Returned to the room and called for the TV to be fixed. The maintenance guy, Bill, got it working in about 10 mins. The fridge in the room had no control & was so cold it froze & ruined my medications. Had to call dr. for refills. The bottom line: This hotel is dated and has issues, is loud and seems to be a party spot. However all of the staff I encountered are polite and helpful. Okay for the price.

My husband and I stayed two nights; we chose to stay here because of price and location to Cedar Point. This Comfort Inn is very large. It has an impressive lobby, a couple restaurants, pools and a game room. Reception desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful during check-in. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable; it even had a covered shared balcony, with tables and chairs, with the room next door. Our room was overlooking the outdoor pool which was very crowded. The next morning we entered the very large, noisy breakfast room. It was jam packed with people so we decided to look for a place to sit before getting our food. We were lucky to find an occupied table with extra seats so we asked to share the space; request granted! We approached the food tables and were awed by the massive selection. Never before had we seen lunch items offered at breakfast! Although we were impressed by the attentiveness of the breakfast staff trying to keep on top of replenishing and keeping the area clean, the place was still somewhat sloppy due to the less than caring guests. We were also appalled that staff said nothing to some guests for their brazen actions. Two men in particular, who I and many others witnessed, had managed to take a couple of plates each that were stacked high with bacon. When my husband and I were finally able to get to that part of the table for some bacon, it was gone! I asked when more would be brought out but unfortunately was told, “Sorry there is no more”.
