we stopped for a night at this hotel on are way to new york the first stay here was ok but when we stayed one night on our way back the room was awful ! the bedding was old and stained and the sheets were so thin i could see through them. and the top comforter had cigg burns on it ! i had to sleep with all my cloths on because i was so grossed out with all the bedding !
Typical chain hotel, staff is friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes to and from Ceadr Point. Close to Sandusky Mall and many restaurants. The beds and the showers need to be updated. Would stay with them again.
This was our first stay at the Sleep Inn and we will be back if the price is right! We took a break from the rainy day at Cedar Point to come check-in and relax for a bit before heading back to the park. Evan was excellent, my 11-year old daughter even commented how friendly he was. Rochelle checked us out the following morning and great--very friendly, talkative, and helpful. The only down sides are that there is no mini-fridge in the room and we had brought a cooler from home and wanted to refreeze our ice packs. There was a blood spot or stain on the mattress pad as well and we needed a couple extra washcloths and towels--there was four of us in the room. We didn't have breakfast at the property, therefore, I cannot comment on that. Other than that, the stay was excellent and as I stated, if the price is right, we will stay again.…
Got king bed room for one night. Check in was easy. Had dinner at Applebees next door which was convenient. Had a swim , pool was clean and good temperature. Room was standard hotel room with usual facilities. Used laundry, my husband had to borrow a screwdriver from reception and take filters off dryer which was clogged full of old fluff (a potential fire hazard and also displays lack of maintenance). Slept well, bed comfy. Breakfast was adequate, the only hot food was sausage patties and waffles, but there was fresh bananas and apples. Check out was not good. The female on reception was having a private personal conversation with someone out the back and acted like we were a nuisance and was very offhand, obviously not wanting our checkout to interrupt her chat. Was not a good leaving experience unfortunately. …
This hotel was chosen because it was close to our destination of Cedar Point. The room was clean and we did not encounter any issues. It was a basic room, nothing fancy, but we were not looking for fancy just a place to rest. The breakfast was plentiful and included waffles, boiled eggs, a variety of muffins and bagel, cereal etc.
