We reserve two nights for our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon check-in, it is obvious this place has a strong attention to detail. From the personalized cards/notes in our room to the kind words from one of the owners to the chat with the master chef, we felt personally welcome. Our first evening we took advantage of a couples massage and...

We stayed in the Macdonald suite for a weekend honeymoon and it was beyond wonderful! just the right amount of pampering with out being snobby or stuffy. breakfast and dinner there are well worth the additional price. only complaint is there were too many light switches in the room, took some getting used too

We had a wonderful, romantic two nights stay for our honeymoon. The Douglas suite was very comfortable and had plenty of space for the two of us. We enjoyed having the Jacuzzi in our room and also opted for an in-house couples massage! Unfortunately, the dining room was under construction during our stay so we were not able to experience...

My husband and I were looking for a relaxing getaway location to celebrate our 17th anniversary. He actually stumbled across Glenlaurel when doing a search online. After reading the fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to book our stay. We chose to stay in the Cambell Suite in the Manor House. The room was generously sized, complete with a...

From the personalized cards/notes in our room to the kind words from one of the owners to the chat with the master chef, we felt personally welcome. Attention to detail was not forgotten. Immaculate accommodations. The grounds were peacefully awesome from the manor house to the village of cottages in the woods. Mighty fine food at the six-course evening meal...

We found this place 11 years ago and keep coming back again and again. It is peaceful, magical and romantic. No kids, pets, or t.v. The staff knew it was our 25th night and gave us a pair of beautiful champagne flutes. Such a nice touch. This year we tried the in- room dining and loved it! After coming back...

My husband and I stayed in the Macloud Cottage for a 3 night getaway and it surpassed our expectations. The cottage was private and beautifully decorated with a view of the wooded property. We hiked the trails twice, the waterfalls, cliffs and creek were breathtaking. We enjoyed it as much as our hikes in Hocking Hills state park. The kitchen...

My husband and I work very hard all week and we have 4 children. You can imagine how tired and stressed we can get. This is the second time we go to Glenlaurel for a weekend getaway. The place is absolutely gorgeous and secluded. Everybody treated us like kings. The first time we stayed at the Gordon and now we...

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway to celebrate his birthday. I had never heard of the inn and wasn't sure what to expect so we booked a room in the manor house. Our room was lovely and the manor house was so quaint and nicely decorated, the Scottish art and detail in all of the furnishings...
