Was only able to stay one night but would like to return for a few more. Welcoming and friendly home away from home. Several details in the home make a difference. Is comfortable and clean. I very much recommend.

We loved our stay at the Rocking Horse Inn! Bob, the innkeeper, has thought of every little detail and we felt right at home. The gorgeous plantings and front porch made me think I was in Key West. We loved the hot tub, there were tons of yummy self-serve options for breakfast and yes, the towels and robes are to... More

The Inn was quaint with lots of Victorian knickknacks and furniture. The rooms were nice and they have snacks in the kitchen for you. Downtown Ravenna is only a couple blocks away. Breakfast is continental, pretty much like what you get in any motel or hotel which offers breakfast. It was not anything to look forward to.Our big disappointment was not... More

I stayed at the Rocking Horse Inn for several nights while visiting friends in the area. A great deal of care has been taken with the decor to make it look authentic to the age of the house. Everywhere you look there are interesting pictures, statues and ornaments that give this B&B a quirky feel. All the rooms are slightly... More

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Bob's sister who made us feel right at home. It was like staying at grandma's house. The entire house and our room was exceptionally tidy and clean. They were attentive to our every need. We will be staying again and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a B&B in the... More

Love this place. Warm and inviting. Attractive. Well thought out. Bob was a perfect host offering snacks and beverages often. Sheets crisp and clean. Great shower and claw foot tub. We will stay here again.

Arrived on a weeknight in pouring rain -- at 8:45 pm. Not that late really, but it was dark and few lights were on. I figured out where to park (not easy), where the front door was (after navigating a dark porch), and found the door locked and the "lobby" dark. A note on the door, from Bob, instructed me... More

This was my first stay at the Rocking Horse but it certainly won't be my last. Bob has created a warm atmosphere with lovely Victorian antiques and accents plus special touches in each room. Drinks and snacks are available 24 hours. The continental breakfast is available each day from 7-11 a.m. The Anne room where I stayed had wonderful antiques,... More

We just had our first visit to this is a very attractive and comfortable B&B on a quiet street near the center of town. Bob is a fine host and he and his sister have done a great job of decorating the rooms and common areas. Nice selection for breakfast--when we were there a few weeks ago he had a... More
