My parents booked this hotel in March for a say for the 4th of July. The hotel is intentionally old fashioned and secretly has a Speak-easy. There is a dorm like bathroom that is shared in the hallway of each floor, so no in room bathrooms. And the hotel is not pet friendly. So, my moms dog had to stay on our boat. Park Hotel also takes pride in its history and has some cool artifacts in the lobby that are fragile and a scrap book about how the hotel is haunted. My mom picked this hotel for exactly that reason. She also stated that she would defiantly stay there again. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of Put-in-bay, so its great walking distance to mostly everything.

If you rent a golf cart for a few days rather than a day by day rental, there is free parking but it is difficult to find.

I would have given this place a one star review, but the staff (especially the general manager) redeemed it.
This place is right smack dab in the middle of the bars of Put-In-Bay. We learned Put-In-Bay is “the Key West of the Midwest;” all people do here is drink. There is even a bar attached to this place (the Roundhouse). They BLAST music at night (in the morning, I wanted to roundhouse kick them in the face).
Our first night was sleepless- we were on the second floor above the LOUD LOUD LOUD bar and some middle aged drunks literally set up camp at 1 AM outside our room where they complained about their VFW, mixed drinks (in the hallway), and crunched chips. I finally called the front desk (on my cell phone. No room phones), the manager made them disperse. However, they were mad and threw the contents of their ice bucket at our door
The next day, I was exhausted and wanted to check out early. But my husband wanted to stay so they moved us to the third floor on the other side. This was much better; I was actually able to sleep.
If you want to party, this place would be great. There are a number of bars within stumbling distance. If you are a one or two glass of wine person who wants to retreat back to the hotel and rest on your getaway (me), this is not the place.
The bathrooms are dormitory style so if you ever lived in one in college, it will bring you back. Make sure you bring your flip-flops and own toiletries. I asked for shampoo but it was terrible, and there are pumps in the showers... for hand soap.
Having TVs in the room, even with just rabbit ears and the local channels, would have made it much better. There was also no WiFi and I had very poor cell service all over the island.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of town. We only slept there. With a golf cart we were able to get around the island and do so many things. To end up in town and even w as ok to the shows at night and back to the room was perfect. Coffee and pastries in the morning were a nice touch.

The room was small, and it's a shared bathroom with the other guests, but it was perfect for us. Right in the middle of the strip, we only needed a place to sleep which is why this hotel was great for us. The rooms were clean, and so was the bathroom. I wouldn't recommend for a family, or if you planned on spending time at the hotel. Otherwise, it was a great price for a few nights sleep. Would stay again.

Free breakfast consisted of coffee, OJ, apple juice, pastries, and mini muffins.
