I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and resorts. I have to say, this is the cleanest and the most well maintained place that I have ever stayed in. The level of care that has been put into this resort is unmatched. I’m talking clean, in the cracks, kind of clean. Everything- walls, floors, beds, everything is clean and well cared for. Joe is the owner and takes care of you personally which is a real plus. The location is walking distance (2 blocks) of the downtown area, but the street you are on is super quiet and relaxing. Rent the golf cart from Bodee’s and even pay extra if you want it for the next day. If not, drop off is by 9pm. If you take Miller’s Ferry over to the island, there are taxis waiting that only charge you about $3-$4 for a ride. They will bring you right to the resort. It was seriously such a great trip except for the fact that September is a tough time to come because things are closed. Other than that, I wish I could relocate Bodee’s to all of my favorite destinations so I could always stay in such a great place! Excellent job Joe!

We had an excellent stay! Joe was so welcoming and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable we've ever had in a hotel. There were many added special touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. Lables on all the switches, shampoo and body wash dispenser, hair dryer and a sleep machine. Loved the complimentary morning coffee/danish bar and tiki bar on the patio. Close enough to walk to the downtown area yet quiet enough to escape from it all. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to the Bay!

Adorable and very well run, clean resting spot. The rooms a beautiful and clean. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well for gathering on a nice evening. A lite breakfast is served in the morning with pre-packaged Danish and there are also fruit cups and apple sauce. Also hot coffee with cream and sugar options. Not the best breakfast, but it is better than nothing. I wish Joe the owner had healthier options such as packaged oatmeal. The Bungalow is very close to the down town area (0.4 miles) yet far enough away, no noise is heard from downtown. I would for sure return to the Bungalow.

This place is very nice and at a great location. However, the owner is a complete jerk. Several couples from a wedding event stayed there and every single couple was “warned” and treated like children upon check in. Take note, every coupe was in the 40-60 age range. One paying customer was told her friend could not use her bathroom In her suite. She paid for a 2 person suite so why he would not allow another person to enter her room is amazing. Another guests was called “gross” because her golf cart was wet and she used a hand towel to sit down. Completely uncalled for verbiage and unnecessary. No damage was done. Simply water. Joe appears young and seems to lack people skills unfortunately. Maybe in a few years he will realize you do not “scold” or “warn” guests upon entry. Not renting to college kids is understandable and giving a warning IF people do not respect his property. However, upon check-in is simply rude and not welcoming to guests. Every single couple who stayed there was appalled and will not return. There are plenty of “adult only” places on the island with fantastic and hospitable owners.

This place is a hidden gem. Owners on premises to answer our questions on best places to eat etc. rooms were clean. Comfortable bed. Surrounding area was quiet but a sound machine is in the room if needed. Located on a dead end street but very close to downtown bars and restaurants. Great hang out area outside to relax.

My wife and I visited the island for a couple of days and picked Bodee's because the owner, Joe, was very accommodating when we were looking for a place to stay. We were not disappointed when we arrived.
The property is beautiful, well maintained, and quiet. This is not the place to stay if you are looking to party. There is plenty of parking and each morning they had coffee and danishes for the guests. We stayed in the Kokomo room which is perfect for a couple.
Location wise, Bodee's is walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. They also rent golf carts which I would highly recommend reserving for your stay. You can get anywhere on the island via golf cart.
We will definitely stay here again. Bodee's is a family run business that goes out of its way to make sure you have a great visit to Put-in-Bay

I am wowed by this cute inn at PIB! The rooms are comfortable and immaculate. Joe is so friendly and helpful. I will definitely return and will bring friends and relatives. Love this place. Coffee and cinnamon rolls in the morning, a BYOB tiki hut, and they rent you a golf cart on site. Not a party place for swarms of young people so perfect for couples.

We stayed at Bodee’s Bungalow on a Sunday and Monday in the fall. The experience was laid back and very enjoyable. It’s great to be on the island when it’s not packed! The rooms were in perfect shape and very well decorated. Many special outdoor seating areas were available . We also loved the availability of the golf carts. We would definitely enjoy staying again and bringing friends. The place was awesome!

Excellent place to stay. Extremely clean and quiet and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Room was great and we rented our golf cart from them which was very convenient and a great value. We will definitely be coming back here on our next visit!

Just checked into Bodee’s this afternoon after booking this trip in January. Joe went above and beyond to answer every question/email leading up to the trip in a timely fashion. Check-In was a breeze and Joe was very welcoming and friendly. We were lucky enough to have an early check-in which Joe notified us via text. The property and rooms are beyond immaculate/clean. This is definitely not a party atmosphere which is exactly what we were looking for. Very excited about the upcoming weekend and making this destination a yearly trip!
