Lots of full timers so it is really a trailer park where everybody has a plastic drum underneath to haul their crap away. Kids were loud at 10 pm. Guy next to us took our picnic table and 2 others so he could use 3. Thought about walking over and setting up our dinner on our table at his campsite right next to his satellite dish. $10 deposit on cheap plastic hotel key that works the gate. Not paved.

Hi Melisa, thanks for your visit. We're so very sorry that Guy took your table! Perhaps had we known about the affront, or had you spoken with him directly, the issue could have been resolved. About a third of the park has sewers; the rest of the park is serviced by one of several dump stations or by a mobile pumpout service. The "plastic drums" are actually portable waste tanks that are designed to transport waste to dump stations in a sanitary manner. This is very common among RV parks, and is generally preferred to dumping human waste onto the ground. The gate keys are actually SecuraKey RFID access cards, which are a much higher quality than a standard hotel key. As for the deposit, you were not actually charged for use of the card but instead an authorization was placed on your credit card in the event that the key was not returned. There are areas of the park that are paved, but the rest is strategically left as compacted stone or tar and chip to keep the speed of motorists at bay. We have loud kids in the park and try our best to keep them safe. Happy camping!

EXPENSIVE per night without full hookup and narrow sites. Obey the rules!! Expesive to have family visit. It's like kid heaven there! Otherwise it is a nice place to have fun with family. Bring your wallet!

Cedarlane was an overnight stop on our way to Michigan, so I didnt expect much. Many RV parks disappoint in some way. However, the staff, amenities, facility and value were so good in every way that we're planning on staying a week on our return. Great job, Cedarlane!

We rented the Seneca cabin for this trip. We arrived late on a Thursday night due to bad weather. The owner met us right at our car upon arrival and had security escort us to our cabin. The cabin was really nice! It featured a full size bed, bunks, table, microwave, refrigerator and A/C. There was also an outside porch that was covered with chairs. I'm always concerned with the beds but that was probably the softest bed in a cabin ever! None of us had trouble sleeping! During our stay, we did the gem mining. Our son loved finding gems and fossils. It was very reasonable to do! There were several swimming options available. My husband and I didn't swim but our son did (even in the rain and cold). The pool was nice and not too deep for kids. He made friends with other kids at the pool and on the basketball court. We did the kids activities on Saturday. Bree was fantastic! She really does great with kids! Our son enjoyed the crafts and chatting with her while they worked. The camp store is really nice and offers a variety of items, including alcohol. Firewood was very reasonably priced and burned nicely. The bathrooms and showers were very clean! Probably the cleanest we've ever experienced at a campground. It was pretty busy at the campground by Friday and people were out and about but not noisy. Everyone was friendly. We had a medical emergency with our son and the campground was very accommodating. Even other campers checked in with us the next morning to see how he was doing. We plan to come back again next year! My only complaint was that we weren't right beside a bathroom, but that wasn't the campgrounds fault. Just hard with a child to have to keep running in the middle of the night to the bathroom. Next time we will upgrade to the park model. If you are looking for a nice, clean campground with activities for the kids, I highly recommend this one! The cabins were nice and clean and the amenities kept our son happy and entertained!

I have stayed in over 50 RV Parks, and this park has the best dog park that I have yet to see. You can tell a lot about a dog park by how the RV park keeps it’s dog park because most pay little attention to the furry visitors. This Cedarlane RV park is an exception to this rule. The park had beautiful mowed grass, (not weeds). It looked better than most people’s front yards. The dog park was clean with every amenity a dog would want. Did the Dog park being exceptional mean the RV Park would be the same? You bet! This park had all the amenities and the place was spotless. These people take care of all the details. Why only a 4? Because I couldn’t give a 4 1/2. It cannot be a 5 because no concrete pads; no sewer on most sites and the streets are not paved. However, for what they do have, they make the most of it. I would definitely stay here again.

Thanks so much for the awesome review! We appreciate your suggestion about pads on the sites, as well as sewers. About 65% of the transient sites we offer are sewered. We consciously choose not to pave the roads primarily because that would open the door to speeding on the grounds; there are too many kids and pets around to open that door! As for the dog parks, we are pleased you appreciate our crew's attention to their detail! It's certainly not been an easy or dry spring to keep up with the grounds, but we've been doing everything we can to do so! Thank you again so much for your stay and your review, we and our crew truly appreciate it!
