We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful White Garden Inn and are so grateful to you for being such delightful hosts. The location was perfect for us to visit our daughter at Miami University and enjoy the charming town of Oxford. Quinn and Laura were extremely helpful and gracious and made us feel so welcome and right at home. Our room was gorgeous and so beautifully decorated. The bed was so amazingly comfortable that we slept in later than we anticipated on Sunday. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the elegant bathroom with all of the wonderful shower products. We will enthusiastically recommend The White Garden Inn to our friends and can’t wait to return again!

I highly recommend this place. Quinn is kind and welcoming. There are board games, breakfast, a wraparound porch, a garden, a tree house and so much more to explore! THE place to stay in Oxford! No need to look anywhere else. I wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely come back.

We stayed here one night while dropping off our daughter at Miami. We got in late, slept in late then left. The owners were very easy to work with. It was about half the cost of a hotel in town and only about a 5 minute drive from Oxford. Large old home with wonderful gardens and big comfortable rooms. We travel quite a bit and this definitely met all our needs ~ a charming venue.

Very pleasant place to stay when visiting the Oxford area - very nice hosts, very nice grounds, 5 minutes to campus. If you need to work during the day, plenty of places to grab a quiet area and get out the laptop and phone. Complimentary waters, beers and wine - the owners understand hospitality! Good venue/location/facility if you're planning on hosting an event. Liked sitting out on the porch at night and listening to the million crickets.

Beautiful inn, charming room overlooking the wooded grounds with wonderful personal service provided by the owners. Remarkably close to Oxford, while far enough away to be "in the country. Can't wait to return.

What a perfect place for parents of Miami University students to spend the night...just two miles from campus! Owners and innkeepers John and Linda Alexander have gone to great lengths to ensure their guests' comfort...even a refrigerator stocked with complimentary cool beverages. Their 9,000 sq. ft. home offers five large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and its own unique personality. We stayed in Iva's Garden Room, which was an excellent value at $95 per night. The room featured an antique brass bed and amoire, natural willow furniture and linens sewn by Linda. We enjoyed conversation with our hosts and other guests and a sumptuous breakfast, including a decadent chocolate dessert, in the pretty pink and green sunroom. This is a good match for those who like the congeniality of a B&B.

The Bed and Breakfast was beauriful but the owners never greeted us. We had to,leave early in the morning and asked if we could have breakfast earlier and the owners declined. I called to discuss my bill as I had no receipt and the owner suggested I not come back. Why would I return after being treated rudely. I feel I was overcharged. Needless to say there are much friendlier places to stay in Oxford.

My wife and I decided at the last moment to drive our son back to Oxford following Christmas break. I called and was greeted on the phone by John who graciously took my reservation. This place is great: large, spacious, clean rooms and wonderful public areas. It's just minutes from downtown Oxford... The owners, John and Linda are amazing. We were greated with a delicious full breakfast and had a wonderful conversation with them. We can't wait to return when Linda's beautiful garden is in full bloom.

We went to college at Miami, so 50 years later, we will be visiting again, and staying at this fabulous B&B for our reunion. It's off the beaten path, the rooms are vintage and lovely, and the owners are terrific. I even have one of their recipes they served for breakfast - it was that good!

We stayed here 2 nights in mid-October, apparently during fall break for Miami University. Lovely old Victorian style romantic inn. Very quiet rooms, comfortable beds. Large dining room was used for a baby shower tea one afternoon. Nice common area on the second floor had sofas, chairs, and a Kuerig coffee machine, so my husband could wake up 1.5 hours before me and read without bothering me. Excellent, nicely presented, and nutritionally balanced breakfasts both mornings in a sunny breakfast room. Well tended garden. Hosts were very warm, friendly, and accommodating.

About 2.5 miles from lots of restaurants and about 3 miles from Miami U.

Only complaints: wifi speed was very irregular, but generally on the slow side although it's possible that this is a consequence of being in a relatively low population density area. Rose room was a little dark for us (2 of the 4 overhead bulbs were out and the lovely lamps weren't enough of a boost).
