NUMBER OF ROOMS
From the moment I stepped onto the property I was delighted. I had booked a suite and management upgraded me to a suite with a private pool. I was in heaven for 8 days. The staff in particular at the front desk, Apostlis and Filio at the Fish Restaurant on the beach and Elsa who was part of the cleaning crew, were the most delightful people, friendly, kind and caring. They all added to the wonderful experience at this gorgeous resort. I would most definitely recommend a stay here in paradise.
Definitely a 4* two-in-one resort that provides just about everything you would wish for. The staff make all the difference here and so does the food, the accommodation, the pools, the easy access to the glorious sea and close to some beautiful towns and villages for some local delicacies and shopping boutiques be it for clothes, food, cakes, bougatsa, biscuits, pure olive oil, amazing honey and more! The sand is lovely and coarse, there are beach chairs and umbrellas to hire on-site, there are an on-site shop and restaurant (but expensive!) but then again you have the option to lunch on a hearty 4EUR gyro kebab at the on-site outlet. The brand-new 7xx suites are the crown jewels with a private swimming pool, parking bay and 5* luxuries everywhere inside it. I expect that section to be completed for next season and I also expect it to look beautiful. The reason I did not give this beautiful resort a 5 rating is that, in my view, it was not 100% ready yet for the price tags attached to the different rooms/suites. Having said that, the prices in September are more reasonable than what one might pay in July/August. I do recommend watching the marketing video on their site as it depicts very well the natural beauty around the Lagomandra cluster. Yes, there is a sister Lagomandra Hotel & Spa literally across the road and this may confuse some visitors. The Beach Hotel/resort is as close to the beach as you can reasonably get without getting your feet wet while you are having your dinner! The Hotel & Spa has its own separate facilities (e.g. Spa, swimming pools, as well as the entertainment area and the gym). The other reason I did not give the full 5 stars was the entertainment. The animators do a great job with what they have at their disposal but some quality acts need to be booked in, especially for the Greek evening, which should be the entertainment schedule's highlight in my view. Finally, the music is varied and look & feel of the resorts have a universal appeal but I would have liked a little more Greek flavour to those important aspects. If you were to parachute yourself down to the resort you might be hard-pressed to identify the country you were in. Personally, I like getting the feel of the country's flavour and culture immediately because that is what makes it different from the others. Would we go back again? ABSOLUTELY!…
Outstanding location with own sand beach, quiet place. Very nice resort with high class suite, very good personal at reception, restaurant and entertainment. Restaurant is good for half pension and we would recommend to go to the upper restaurant (spa) with a nice panorama and open windows.
I came here for the second time in September 2019 with my family and friends. We were 100% satisfied with the hotel, its location, food, beach, pool, activities & friendly service. It's was good for my mother, my husband & his friend, and our kids (6-year old). The Dinner was surprising everyday during our 14-day stay. The Beach is one of the best in Sithonia! We will be back and advise this place for our friends! The service provided by Anthi & Marina was perfect!
We were there for our summer holiday with 2 small children. The hotel is nice and clean, everything is close, restaurant, pool or beach. Our room was at ground floor near the restaurant and the pool, and I recommend those apartments. They are very practical for children car, it would be a problem if you have a room by the road with lot of stairs to the room and no elevator. The main restaurant have nice various food and there are 2 more restaurants-one at the beach and one for cooked meals and a snack bar too. There are beautiful shadows at one side of the beach, but the part in front the hotel is very crowded, with sunbeds next to each other. There is water aerobic and zumba in the pool and in the see. For the kids there is nice entertainment in the other Lagomandra hotel which is across the road, there is a nught bar for the adults too. The staff id polite.…
