My family of 4 and both of my sisters families have come here a couple times a year for 6 years running. Our children always look forward to this trip. However it’s just not the same. The cost we paid this year for 4 nights was outrageous! So much so that we were all saying we could have gone on vacation in a decent hotel for the same price. Life jackets used to be free. Nope not anymore. They used to have free kayaks. Nope not anymore. They used to let you bring your own golf cart. Nope! And the price per kid went up too! Their paid crafts are minimal. Hardly any ceramics for painting or tshirts for tye dying. Short on mining bags.. Activities are lame! And the new pool that was supposed to open this year is now set to open NEXT summer.. Yea.. Jellystone it’s been fun but we’ll try not to get robbed elsewhere.. Peace out!

Overall the trip was great. There are tons of activities and events to keep the kids entertained. We didn’t have issues with getting to do everything we wanted to do. I wish we would have rented a golf cart, as the layout requires a lot of traveling. For example, the life jackets required for the water activities are rented out at the opposite side of the lake! This was not communicated to us so we had to walk a mile around the grounds before ever setting foot in the water. And it’s very hilly, so bikes are difficult to use to get around. Next time, I’ll pick a different camp site. We were in 329 which was not safe for our toddler. It was a raised area with about a 3 foot drop in either side with concrete steps (no railing) to get down to the table and fire pit area. All of the sites on both sides of us had this similar arrangement, so keep that in mind if you have small kids.

This property was purchased by Great Escape in December of 2021 and they are running the property into the ground. They are running seasonal campers out, have raised prices and are nickel and diming their guests for every little thing. They can't even get their open hours correct! The voicemail says one thing, the website says another and when you call and talk to someone, you are told something completely different! We loved this campground when it was owned by the previous owners...was it perfect, no, but was it family oriented, clean and welcoming - YES. Those days are gone. We will never be back there.

Roads are to tight and camp spaces to small. Felt more a like a production than a campground. Were given a spot that allegedly would accommodate a 40 foot camper but theres was no way we were getting it in there due to the large drop off from the road to the site. Bumper was nearly on the stones and we still had another 10 inches before the axles dropped down. There were no other sites available so we left and will never recommend!

We camped in tents with our children. We were extremely disappointed when arriving at our campsite. We did not have one tree on our campsite; the day was hot with no clouds and we had no shade at all. The camping area was a bed of mulch, right next to the road. The picnic table was on a hill (our food and drinks kept spilling). The fire ring was also on a hill and felt very unsafe for my young children. Our campground was extremely rocky and my two-year-old kept falling and hurting himself. When I expressed my concern to the staff at Jellystone, instead of offering ways to make it feel more safe (such as an umbrella for shade or trying to level the area around the campfire), they owners yelled at me and asked me to leave. I said my children were in their swimsuits and ready to swim and they tried to kick me out again, saying that they spent their life savings on this place. Still very hard to believe that is how they treat their guests. At this point, knowing that the owners at Jellystone were not going to do anything to make our stay better (although they eventually brought an umbrella) and that our kids were excited to be there, we tried to make the most of it. It was hard to sleep with the proximity of the campsites, lots of noise until midnight including a neighboring camper's car alarm going off at 11:30 at night and him regularly flicking his headlights on that shined into our tent. I could literally hear another neighboring camper talking about his dog's diarrhea when I was trying to sleep (as were my children - it was after 11:30 pm!) I did actually fall sideways in my chair around the campground and was just glad it wasn't one of the kids! Also had fungus growing out of the mulch getting all over our tents. Really really gross and made clean up a mess. Gratefully the lake was fun and we just had to spend very little time at our campsite since it was so awful. But won't be back especially after the treatment of the owners and will encourage everyone else to take their business elsewhere also.

We enjoyed our first Yogi Bear experience last weekend. This has been one of the best campgrounds we have been too. Very Clean! Staff is always willing to help and very informational. We attended one of the Halloween Weekends! Our boys enjoyed meeting Yogi and BooBoo, doing crafts and even dancing with BooBoo! Our boys are looking forward to coming back next year! This campground is very pet friendly. Our dog was able to go most places with us. I highly recommend bringing or renting a golf cart.

I stayed at this campground with my wife, two kids, and in-laws is a 38 foot travel trailer. We had a back in site in the 300s section of the park. The sites were very wide and had plenty of room for our camper, a golf cart, and two trucks. The campground was decorated for Halloween and the scenic setting was great with the leaves changing colors. The park wide trick or treat was great, as were the other kids activities they had. The store was well stocked as well and they deliver firewood to your site. The only things that kept this from being a five star review was the fact that the bathrooms and shower houses were not very clean and some of the staff lacked customer service, acting like they didn’t want to be there. The staff on the hay ride and the train ride were fantastic however. Overall we would definitely stay here again as there are just a couple little things keeping this campground from being great.

This was our first family camping trip and I'm afraid this campground has really set the bar high! The bathrooms and grounds were very clean. I've stayed in hotels with dirtier showers! The only thing I didn't think was as clean as I'd like was the pool. It was okay but the water was a little murky and it seemed like the filter wasn't working great. I was surprised by the lack of concern for covid-I didn't see a single mask the entire time-but we did our best to social distance. The amenities were great. The only thing that was a disappointment was that the large waterside wasn't operating (no sign or mention of why). My kids were really looking forward to that. There were also swarms of hornets in a sand pit area that needs taken care of. I wish we could go for just one night but they require a 2 night stay on weekends. That means we can't go as often because it takes up our whole weekend and then it's back to work on Monday. Overall it was great, though, and we will definitely be back!

We almost canceled our reservations when we read the reviews regarding the lack of COVID Precautions, but we are so glad we didn’t! Every staff member we came in contact with wore a mask, even the staff behind the plexiglass in the Ranger’s Store. The park was packed, but we were able to social distance fairly well, due to the large size of this park. This park is very clean and sooo many fun activities for our grandkids. One of the craft activities had a lot of kids show up so they had the crafts in pre-made packets to take back to our campsite to make. This was our second trip to a Jellystone park, with our first visit out west so disappointing, we were already leery about going, and with COVID on top of that...but this park definitely changed our minds on the Jellystone Parks! The campsites are spacious, staff super friendly and accommodating, and there was so much to do! We can’t wait to come back! My one piece of advice is to book well in advance if you want a golf cart. We booked on fairly short notice (less than a week), and were unable to get a golf cart, as they were all rented. The park is so spacious and a few hills also, that it was difficult for my disabled husband to get around without the cart. We were able to drive and park to a couple activities, but it’s much easier with a golf cart.

I took my 2 children camping at this site for the first time, as part of our socially-distanced vacation for 2020. We stayed in a cabin and were very satisfied with our accomodations. The staff was very nice and the site offered activities for the kids that went with their current theme. However, the only aspect that I was not completely satisfied with was the level of precautions taken by staff and visitors with the virus. The ranger station had plexiglass up, but no employees wore masks, they were hanging on their monitors. Myself and the kids had our masks on when inside buildings or where there was a group of children for activities being held outside, but no other visitors (adults/children) were wearing masks or keeping 6ft apart from other parties. Children were playing all around each other on the lake equipment, so we had to provide for our own social distancing measures, and waited until 6ft distance was possible. The pool was only big enough to accomodate a handful of visitors before social distancing wouldn't be possible, so we were unable to utilize the pool. Generally, with social distancing concerns, you wouldn't know there's a pandemic going on when inside this site because people were all around each other and wearing of face masks was not seen indoors or outside when around people when 6ft distance was not being followed. Overall, very satisfied with the this campground, and we were able to have a great stay while we were in control of our social distancing.
