We had a nice time. Braved that part of Ohio county side. Felt welcomed by staff. Beautiful location and hotel. Loved seeing critters all over. Feeding the sheep was fun. Food was good. A tad pricey but it is very nice. Must go early for dinner or no window seating available. Kind guest service and room service was a fun experience. Again expensive for breakfast in to go containers but probably Covid carry overs. Beautiful meal and very filling. Loved not having to go to the restaurant for every meal. Overall a wonderful experience. Treated with respect and kindness. Felt welcomed even if LGBTQ in that pocket of OH. Live and let live. It was nice overall. Thank you to all staff. Jessica was the best smiling face at dinner!

What a wonderful experience we had at The Inn at Honey Run! It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room in the Honeycombs was comfortable and private. With the trails, sheep and beautiful countryside we found it a great stress reducer. The Tarragon Dining Room is expensive, but with a 5 star Chef you’re in for a dining experience you’ll remember for a long time. Thank you, Inn at Honey Run, we look forward to returning for no special reason at all.

Surprise stay at The Inn at Honey Run which was more than expected. Sometimes what you see on line is not what you discover when you get there. The Inn at Honey Run delivers on all fronts. You will not be disappointed. Pretty cool place to stay while exploring beautiful Berlin, OH and surrounding area.

Check before booking if you are planning your meals at the Tarragon. They had limited operation and time slots available for dining. They were not open for Breakfast, so plan on getting breakfast off property unless you enjoy room service. We do not like dining in our room.

This is a wonderful destination in Ohio. We went specifically for the "adults only" experience and greatly enjoyed hiking the 56 acre grounds. Honey Run is centrally located just minutes away from all the cheese and chocolate you could want yet we ate all of our dinners (fantastic!) at Tarragon, the resort restaurant. We'll be back again next year.

We arrived at 3pm for their small plate and beverage gathering on the porch, in the heart of Amish Country the small plate was two mozeralla sticks with ragu dipping source. Two glasses of wine $40....We paid, and tipped the waitress 40% in cash. our room was not ready until almost 5pm, ck in is 4. We went for a walk on the art trail, returned to hotel to unpack, was 5 minutes late for our dinner reservation, when Theresa the waitress reprimanded us for being late. The Tarragon restaurant had two tables, and the rest were empty.. She sat us at a dark, two seat table, and I asked if it would be ok if we moved under the light, at a 4 seat so I could read the menu. She spoke in a very high voice, that the tables were for breakfast, which meant there was a wood charger under the plate. She huffed and puffed and in a round rude voice announced we could now sit, never ever have we encountered such a rude waitress.... My husband looked at me and said let go to town to eat..... we did...... the next morning, when we caked out the desk clerk said told us we had a zero balance, on a $400 gift certificate my husband gave me for Valentines.... but that he would email the receipt later..... I got the email, and it showed a $40 balance, we called and asked if we could get that reimbursed, because had we known we could have had breakfast there, or bought something in the gift shop.... we were told it would be impossible to reimburse us the $40. We spoke to the lProprietor Jason Niles this morning, and he confirmed there was nothing they could do to reimburse us the $40 balance. We have looked forward to staying at Honey Run for the past 30 years, We heard glowing reviews, that every detail was ideal for a weekend get away. I understand it has recently been sold to Mr Nies. It is anything but ideal, the staff is rude, the food is barfood, the beds are old and soft, the pillows large hard foam rubber.... All for $400 a night. You have been warned, the Honey Run Inn under new ownership is mediocre at best...

The Inn at Honey Run is the most relaxing and rejuvinating experiences we have had. Loved the honeycombs; the room was perfect. Loved the morning coffee on our patio, watching the birds feed, listening to the sounds of nature, and nothing else. Just quiet! It was perfect. And loved feeding the sheep as well. Tarragon was superb!

This was a great place to stay. Quiet, with nature walks and art. We stayed here to visit the Amish area nearby. The food at Tarragon was wonderful. Our server Liz was very accommodating with my dietary restrictions.
