About Angel WelcomeAngel Welcome is a charming, elegant bed and breakfast located in the northern Ohio historic district of Milan. Situated in a quiet neighborhood of beautifully restored historic homes, this beautiful Federal inn is nestled just steps from the historic birthplace of Thomas A. Edison. What has become Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast was the Hamilton-Stoddard House, one of the first six homes in Milan, constructed in 1828 by Daniel Hamilton, one of the leading citizens of Milan. Daniel Hamilton had what is now the Key Bank Building built adjacent to the property for his general store, where he initiated the trading on the Milan Canal. In 2001, Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast was opened as a lodging alternative to hotels in Milan, and offers three elegantly appointed guest rooms, each with a private bathroom.Your InnkeepersAngel Welcome Bed & Breakfast is owned and cared for by Judy & Bernie Pleunik.Judy has always been in the business world. Detailed Reviews
If you are going anywhere even remotely close to Milan, Ohio this is the perfect place to stay. The historic house is both fascinating and superbly appointed. The guest rooms are inviting, quite comfortable and with private bath, all outfitted and decorated so fitting with the rest of the house. As for the breakfasts, the setting, the presentation and the deliciousness of the home cooked food was world class. Best of all, though, are the proprietors, Judy and Bernie. Not only are they fascinating and delightful in their own right, they just know what they are doing, leaving no detail to chance. Their B and B is a destination not just a place to stay.

We cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place. We came here for our 40th anniversary getaway and it was so peaceful - just what we needed! Its location makes it easy to take day trips to Cleveland or Cedar Point without worrying about a long drive back at the end of an exhausting day. PLUS, unlike many hotels along Route 250, it's clean and safe. Bernie and Judy do everything to pamper their guests from comfortable beds, clean surroundings, and breakfasts that you'd find in five star restaurants. It's obvious that they take great pride in hosting. Two more genuine, caring people you'll never meet.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Angel Welcome Bed and Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts Judy and Bernie, who made sure every detail of our visit was perfect. The room and the bathroom were cozy and beautifully decorated ( Judy’s touch), offering a peaceful retreat with all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was a highlight – freshly prepared by owners and delicious, served in a charming dining area with a lovely garden view ( Bernie’s touch) . The mature garden is indeed amazing and the gazebo is an incredible touch to it!!!The location was ideal, close to our desired destinations. Overall, our experience exceeded expectations, and we can't wait to return!"
Thank you so much Bernie and Judy!!!!!

Beautiful place in a cute town. Stopped by on the spur of then moment and glad we did. Wonderful hosts, comfy bed (and we are hard to please) and possibly the best French toast I ever had. Thank you Judy and Bernie! If you come in late like we did, the pizza box walking distance down the street has great buttery pan pizza.

Angel Welcome is quite simply a taste of paradise. My wife and I have stayed several times now, and we always marvel at how beautiful and peaceful it is there. The inside of the B&B is always immaculate and has everything you could need. But what really sets Angel Welcome apart is Bernie and Judy. They are the nicest, kindest, most hospitable people I have ever met. They truly treat everyone who walks through their door like family. They are wonderful human beings with caring hearts. Judy is also an exceptional cook, and her breakfasts are to die for. If you are going to be anywhere even remotely close to the area, make a special trip to Angel Welcome. It is absolutely one of a kind.

We stayed overnight at Angel Welcome for my Birthday celebration and had a wonderful stay. The owners Judy & Bernie are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. After Judy made us a delicious breakfast, we stayed for almost two hours and had a lovely conversation with them both. We stayed in the Hope room and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The property and gardens are beautiful. We will be back!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. And all of the breakfasts were wonderful, filling and delicious. We didn’t eat lunch most of our trip because we were still full from breakfast! Judy and Bernie the owners are real genuine people. We enjoyed our daily interactions and chats with them. Room was clean, quiet, bedding comfortable. Would recommend to others.

Wonderful hosts, great breakfast, and maybe the most comfortable bed ever. Kind of an eclectic place in a small town and we absolutely loved it. I would go out of my way to stay here again. We only spent one night. Lovely gardens.

I was in Milan, OH on business for an extended period and checked out Angel Welcome. Judy gave me a tour of her very nice establishment and I thought it looked great. Imoved over from my motel that night.
The rooms are very nice and have modern private baths. Judy's great breakfast (ask for the pecan french toast) will hold you all day if desired. We cooked steaks out on her grill several times. The outside patio and gardens were great. I can't tell you how many night we brought home food and ate out on the patio.
I'd highly recommend Angel Welcome. It is the top one or two of all I've stayed in my 14 years of business travel.
Tell Judy Hi from John.

Judy and Bernie have a wonderful old home in historic Milan, and have restored it beautifully. We stayed in the Hope room, which I recommend as it is on the end of one side of the house and very private, with a private bath across the hall. The bath is enormous, with everything you could think to want readily available. The breakfast was delicious and the presentation elegant. As hosts, I can't think of better, more friendly and relaxed ones than Judy and Bernie; they even let us play their grand piano and sing a few tunes. Do yourself a favor and stay a pleasant night or two here!
