Victorian home with three spacious themed rooms (each with a private bath). House was part of the Underground Railroad and is the one of the oldest buildings in Marion. Within walking distance of downtown and the Harding Home. Hot breakfast served. Cable and WiFi included. Weekly chapel services held on Saturday nights. The home was built by the son of the town's founder and served as a station on the Underground Railroad. Many of the hiding places and secret passages remain intact. It is rumored there were tunnels that connected this home with three other stations. Our three guest rooms are decorated to celebrate Marion's rich local history. The Presidential Room honors President Warren Harding and Ohio's other seven presidents. The School Room holds a classic book collection and reminds visitors of old local schoolhouses. The Coke Room is classic Americana with many examples of vintage licensing and advertising. Rates range from $79-129 per night with no added tax.

Very nice hosts! Dustin and his folks are very accommodating and make you feel welcome! I love homes with history and this house definitely has it! Felt very comfortable here as if I were home. I would stay here again next time I’m in the area.

I think it was Nov 2015 when I visited, great place & host! Our family lost a loved one so my recollection of the date might be off. Was amazing! Beautiful! Very nicely decorated, historical. Very comfy & cozy. I loved this bed & breakfast! Great rates for off season.

Pictures don't do it justice. The history of the house and elegance of it made this a perfect weekend get away. The details on the inside only add to the charm of this quaint home. Dustin was a great host with an amazing breakfast! 5 stars; would highly recommend.

Looking for a cheaper place than the hotel in upper Sandusky I searched the web. I found this place and was surprised by the cost. So I called. The website was correct. For $69.00 a night you can stay in the PRESIDENT SUITE. Decorated in honor of the 8 Ohio presidents our country has had. Nice King size bed was very comfortable. TV, daybed w/trundle. Secretary desk where you can leave a note about your stay. Full bath of its own. This is an old house on Vine St that has been converted into a B&B. With only 3 rooms to choose from. But that's good because with less than 5 beds there is no taxes. They have the PRESIDENT SUITE @ $69.00/ night. THE SCHOOL ROOM & the COKE ROOM. @ $59.00/night. This was our first time in a B&B and we loved it. We were served a full breakfast each morning of eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. There are drinks and snacks available in the dining room for you if you get hungry. At no extra cost. The Haven is run by a mother, father & son. They have a ministry service on Saturdays. Via periscope. They treat you like family. Good people. Dustin, the son, gave us a tour and told us of the history of the house, which was built in 1838. There is a lot of slave history here and it's neat to learn about the hiding places in this home. If you are a history buff or just like old houses, this is the place for you.

The family that owns and manages this place is super nice. The rooms are clean and full of history and cute themes. We stayed in the Coca-Cola room, and it was very agreeable. I would stay here again. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I personally loved all of the history they told us about the house and some of the antiques they have on site. I would stay here again, and I would recommend staying here for others!
