Detailed Reviews

Cincinnati city hotels were overrun due to the MNF game, so I stayed at the Best Western Premier Mariemont Inn and it was less convenient, but pleasant, comfortable, and safe.
The second-floor room was comfortable though my view overlooked a parking lot and the television, normally hidden behind a painting that slid away for the reveal, stayed off (except for this weird morning where the sound came on but there was no image--it was a little disconcerting). There was a fake-fire fireplace that didn't seem to emit any heat. The bathroom was tight with the toilet right behind the door, but the shower was fine and I didn't use the bathtub. Beds were pretty comfortable.
No issues with the surrounding neighborhood, where I did morning jogs (there's a nice bike trail nearby) and then would use the small gym to stretch and cool down.
The tuck shop provides free coffee all day, which is helpful--though the machine did not provide any decaf options.
The lobby lounge was comfortable for sitting and relaxing. The wifi in the room was great.
The one downside is that getting an uber from this hotel to get into the city takes forever (and is quite expensive). I drove a rental car for most of my visit, but the one night we wanted to uber in for a nice dinner, I was late to dinner because we couldn't find a pickup. Plan accordingly.
Overall, nice stay! Thanks to the staff.

This hotel is like staying in Snow White's cottage with modern amenities! Lovely staff, charming rooms, wonderful shower! Next time, we would love to try the in house restaurants, but they did not work with our schedules this time.

Mariemont Inn is the perfect hotel if you are visiting the Mariemont, Terrace Park, Indian Hill areas of Cincinnati. Located in the beautiful town of Mariemont, it is a beautiful hotel with the character of an old English inn. The rooms are large and spacious and even though it’s on a busy street, they are very quiet. The restaurant and bar are also top notch. The icing on the cake, or in this case the ice cream, is that you are walking distance from Graeter’s ice cream! You are also walking distance from a movie theater, shops and beautiful parks.

Another great stay at the BW Mariemont. We love this quaint cozy inn every time we visit Cincy. They have a great restaurant on site, with a beautiful outdoor terrace and there are several boutiques, restaurants and even a Graeters right next door. Parking is free, self park right behind the hotel.
We were warmly greeted by Anna when we checked in and had a nice visit with Anne the next morning when we checked out!
Beds are memory foam and some people might find them firm, but they soften up once you lay in them. The room has some cool innovations, with a TV that disappears behind a painting above an electric fireplace and a cool nightlight feature that illuminates the floor when you step out of bed in the dark.
I love that you can open the windows in your room and enjoy the fresh breeze or birds singing in the morning. It is on a residential corner so there is some traffic noise but nothing disruptive.
The rooms are very generously sized with desk, mini fridge and upholstered chair and ottoman to relax in. The bathrooms are well designed with a really excellent shower set up and also generously sized space.
The housekeeping is always immaculate! We travel a lot and I am always amazed at how stellar the maintenance and cleanliness of the BW Mariemont is consistently!

So, upon arrival the hotel seemed very nice and the room appeared clean; until I went into the bathroom and found hair in the sink, and in the shower. I told the front desk and was apologized to, but said it happens sometimes? Then I was offered a bottle of water for my inconvenience. I went ahead and cleaned the entire room with Clorox wipes I had purchased, since I was told housekeeping had left at 5 pm and this was 8 pm. Then I went to pull back my sheet at bedtime and realized there was a blood spot on both the pillow and the sheet. I immediately left that bed and went to sleep in the other. I took pictures of all of these things and showed them to the day manager the next day. She said they are known for their great reviews and this never happens. I said yes, I chose your hotel based on the great reviews, but here are the pictures and she again still acted like I was fabricated my story? I told her again, ma’am I have very long curly hair; theses hairs were short and straight. And the blood smears were not from me? She offered a 50% off discount and said I could’ve changed rooms or left. Yes. She seriously said that. I didn’t change rooms the night before only because my child was asleep. In the only bed with no blood smears that is. Their customer service was lacking, and to act like I didn’t show them pictures and explain exactly what my experience was? My husband called the corporate office who said they would refund our entire stay, which I then passed along to the day manager and she said they don’t do that, and they are individually owned. I just have up and I’m hoping this review will help others to steer clear of this hotel of terror. Or at least bring your own cleaning supplies and fresh sheets...just in case.

I am sorry your stay was disappointing. As you have read from other reviews, our entire hotel team works very hard to make every guest comfortable and welcomed. The experience you are describing is very uncommon for us. I understand you have already been in contact with our management team. We do like to learn and retrain from these types of events; however, we are struggling to understand your comments based on our front desk shift reports, camera footage and what we have witnessed in your guestroom after you checked out. The front desk agent did apologize and offer to move you to another room immediately that evening. We reviewed the camera footage and we only witnessed adult women accessing the room, we did not see a child nor purchased cleaning supplies. As a policy, whenever we have a service failure complaint, we have two employees assigned to verify and understand the failure so that we can learn from these events. The two employees that removed the linen on both beds were not able to find any bloodstains. Again, we pride ourselves on making every guest feel at home in a comfortable, clean and inviting environment. We also understand that our team is human and makes mistakes from time to time; however, finding a teachable moment in this instance is difficult. Aside from the comments in your review, I do hope you were able to enjoy all the hotel amenities and services that we offer all our guests. Thank you for choosing our hotel.

Amazing bed with a memory fam mattress. Loved the dark and motion activated lights at the bottom of the nightstands that light your path to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The TV is hidden behind a replica painting. The glassed-in and tiled shower stall had two shower heads and plenty of room to move around although the rest of the bathroom was rather small. Great rustic, medieval ambiance. They had a great haberdashery in the building. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.
The refrigerator in the room did not work well. It barely got my sodas below room temperature, and there was no adjustment knob on the unit.
One thing I found rather strange was they have a restaurant that doesn’t offer room service. This caliber of hotel should offer room service, and the restaurant does open into the hotel. The reaction to this from the front desk was strange with explanations such as “we don’t own them” and “they don’t want to provide room service”. I received a strange look. It was as if the employees of the hotel thought this was a normal arrangement. It’s not!

We stay in a lot of historic hotels in our travels and this hotel was one of the best. We booked an executive king (room 212) which had a sitting area and plenty of room. The bed had a comfy posterpedic mattress with nice smelling linens. Lots of nice touches, such as a glass door on the small fridge, so you don’t forget your sodas. The bathroom was most impressive with a spotless glass shower with two shower heads and a separate tub. Plenty of bright lighting and mirrors, even one in the shower and a magnifying one by the vanity. No dim lighting or exposed pipes here! The only thing I’d add is a few lamps with USB ports to charge those tech devices. All in all a lovely hotel that someone put a lot of thought into.

Very unique and historical Inn, with neat features and a rich vintage vibe. That's the plusses. Check in was a bit difficult due to a clerical error but what somewhat soured our 4 night stay were some very easily corrected issues. First, for $354 per night (2 of the four nights) I'd have expected a free continental breakfast. The only complimentary item was coffee. This is likely due to having an on-site restaurant attached but even then, guests should have been offered a discount on breakfast. Second, we ate out the first night we got there and when returning to the room, found that the fridge is so small, we had to throw out our pricey leftovers. It's ridiculous that it can only hold maybe a six pack of beverage and maybe stuff a few plastic water bottles around them. Lastly, and it's a small issue, but the bathroom towels were bone stiff and felt like sandpaper. After spending the day outside in the sun, these towels were not at all pleasant to use. There were a few smaller things not worth mentioning but my feeling is that this place is way over priced for the value you receive.

We stayed here two nights while cycling the southern half of the Little Miami Scenic Trail, not expecting such a wonderful hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed and very up-to-date. The location in the center of Mariemont was also perfect for evening walks or trips to Graeter's! Highly recommend.

Booked a a room on their Best Western website at $198 and was charged a rate of $347 because of the tennis tournament. They wouldn't honor the website rate. Spoke with management and they told me to take it up with Best Western.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Mariemont Inn. We appreciate your valuable feedback. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding about the rate. Upon further review of the rate discrepancy we would like to confirm the room was reserved with a higher rate. Discounted room rates were not available during the tennis week. Our rate may be higher during special event weekends, but they are in line with other hotels in the area. We do our best to provide good value with our pricing and are constantly monitoring the market and adjusting our rates accordingly. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay.

Yes. Gas fireplace working in our room. Beautiful large rooms - I think you need to ask for a room with a fireplace because there are other typical hotel rooms there too. Highly recommend a room with a fireplace - don't think you'll be disappointed.
There were children in the hotel while I was there.
No, there is a restaurant on site so no microwaves in the rooms, however, you may be able to request one for medicinal storage.
I have a blog and have a ton of pictures of the room in my blog post, but I can't post the link here. Our room was very large compared to most hotels we've visited.
It's about a 30 min drive to the airport. Not sure about a shuttle. I suspect not. I used Uber to get to the hotel. Cost was about $30. Hope that helps.
