This was the 3rd time we have stayed here and it's always been clean and quite. The cabins are just the right size for two people. The only 2 minor complaints I would have are the following, one the Tv was small and the old style but that didn't bother our visit at all, and two the room smelled of...

We stayed for two nights on a special "two for one" offer, while visiting Malabar Farm (about 7 miles down the road, an easy drive). This is a very pretty hillside collection of duplex cottages, plus a manor house (Victorian) and a sort of a ski lodge, all available for rental. It is next door to the Snow Trails ski...

While in Mansfield we stayed at the Manor House at Spruce Hill. It was large enough for our entire family-- 12 in all! It is always hard to find a place for that many under one roof! The Manor House was the largest of a number of cottages in a quiet, lovely area by Snow Trails. We loved the back...

I have made many reviews of resorts, hotels, business, but I haven't done one for a cottage before. As my wife and I were on a Dreamtrip here, we were overwhelmingly surprised at not only the accommodations but the hospitality of the owners. Jim and Beth made our trip even more comfortable than we deserved. Our cottage had an awesome...

I got the cottage via Groupon. This would be a great place for families. The village of cottages is tucked away next to Snow Trails (ski resort). In the winter you could walk to Snow Trails. The cottage had a stove and microwave. There was a hot tub in the room (nice touch).

We recently had the pleasure of staying here for a few weeks while working in the area. I have nothing but positive things to say about the property, rooms, and staff. As someone who travels a majority of the year, it is a real treat to find somewhere that truly feels like "Home away from home". The grounds were very...

Beautiful location. Stayed in cottage 121. It had a huge deck overlooking hardwood forest. Memory foam toppers and candles were nice touch. Enjoyed the large 2 person jetted tub in the bathroom. The room also included a small stove, microwave and frig. It is nestled in next to snow trails ski resort. We plan to come back in winter to ski....

When we went to check in there was junk all over the front porch and the door was locked. I called the number on the website and the lady informed me she was out of the office and my key was in an envelope by the door. She should have told me ahead of time. The room was very unclean...

We just returned from a two-night stay at Spruce Hill Cottages. We were in cottage 116. We arrived to a warm, cozy cottage tastefully decorated and warm. The fireplace was on and there was a welcome basket which had lots of yummy treats and bath salts for the jacuzzi tub. The weather was extremely cold and snowy, so we stayed...

My wife and were married in Mansfield 25 years ago. For my birthday July 1st we decided to look for a place to stay in that area and see what had changed since we moved in 1996. What a great find Spruce Hill was in a beautiful area next to Snow Trails. The room was very cozy and the owner...
