Fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for anything to be better. The cabin was clean, modern, comfortable and in a perfect setting! Completely secluded and beautiful! The check in and out was excellent. We will definitely be back for a visit again!

So we roll up on our cabin shoehorned into the side of a hill with no usable ground. As we try to figure out how to park in the tiny, awkward spot to unload our stuff we instantly regret having picked this cabin. The Hot Tub was out of chlorine tabs with a birds nest and a pile of bird crap right next to the steps. Upon entry, you are greeted with carpet tacks where the carpet has worn through and puntires your foot. At least there was AC (thank god) but all the little careless touches added up quickly. The shower controls installed upside down, they want you to dry yur towels but only have 1 small towel rack and 1 outside was busted and just left that way. The tiny TV with the dark spot in the middle. The rinky dink bath sink with the busted plunger..And the owner not responding but sneaking in without telling us to pluck the plunger out like anti social Gremlin. We did manage to make the best of itand used the ancient, worn out hot tub as we still smelled chorine in it from before, but the soft water treatment from the well water also left a film on your skin, or maybe it's was other things from pure neglect. Needless to say we showered after each use. At the end of the day, we saw other similar cabins shoehorned and crammed into places no good home would ever be built on. This truly felt like some half arsed, lazy scheme for someone to make money by slapping a jacuzzi in a lackluster, barely functioning glorified tree house. Perhaps there are better cabins, but there are definitly enough Duds that you need to beware.

My wife and I made last minute reservations for the 1 bedroom cabin, the deck had a beautiful view. There was a no-contact check-in, key & map to cabin at the office. The cabin was very nice, fireplace, hot tub, disinfectant was in the room to wipe things down as a preventative measure. The cabin was very clean, we were able to kick back and enjoy our time there. we will come back again!

My husband and I booked the wildflower cabin for a couple of days as a secluded getaway. We figured we would go on a hike and remain at a distance from the community during the covid-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, our reservation was canceled because the hocking hills commissioner imposed regulations to close during the stay-at-home order. Completely understandable. When I called to get my deposit back, the woman who answered seemed offended, stating, "You don't want to support us during this time and keep your booking??" I said, "I would like my money back; we are reserving a cabin elsewhere." Then she states, "You don't want to abide by the stay at home order??" Well, first and foremost, I didn't say that I wouldn't support this business during this time, but asking to keep $170 of my money until a later date is unacceptable. Secondly, we booked this cabin to provide a more secluded environment and support a mental release. I'm an RN who works in critical care, providing direct care to covid-19 patients. I, of all people, understand the severity and the need to stop the spread of this virus. Hiking and distancing yourself from the community is not contributing to the spread of this virus. I can understand that people are secluding themselves indoors entirely and taking this order very literally. However, the government isn't recommending that. The governor himself is still encouraging physical activity during this time, such as hiking. Exercising and physical health is still important. I want future customers to be aware of the interaction that I had so that they understand the attitude and demeanor of the staff/owners. This woman spoke to me in an accusatory manner. She said, "This is to make sure you don't come down here and bring the virus to our family!" My husband and I would never intend to put anyone at risk or harm anyone, ever. We intended to bring disinfectant to clean before and after our stay. I hope that next week when they are back open for business, the staff members/owners speak to their customers differently. We called Mohican Country Cabins, who are still accepting reservations and are going above and beyond to maintain extra cleanliness during this time.

Our 1st visit~I am hooked. We thought this would be a fun getaway but what we came away with was respect for the beautiful Hocking Hills. I have heard about it, and I heard a few people say it was a great "close" vacation. What is didn't expect was that how much I loved the cabin, clean, (just could use a new shower head), neat, beautiful, beautiful location, private, and the most comfortable bed, everything we needed was right there. The hikes we took (we never take hikes) were fabulous. An amazing escape from the world if only for two days. I am in love with this place. Thank you so much for the use of the cabin. We will be back!!!!
