Hotel was clean. Only one elevator works so plan to wait. The ice machine on 2 was broken so you can only get ice on floors 4 or 6. That was not convenient everyday. Check in was easy and the front desk was nice. The lobby stayed full of people the entire stay. And being on floor 2 there is a big wide open sitting area that opens to the lobby. So in order to sleep I had to turn up the TV to drown out the noise from the lobby. I had to be to a trade show early each morning. And with all the doors shutting late at night I am guessing a lot of the lobby people stayed on my floor. Breakfast was okay. Waffles, a flat well done egg on a circle, sausage, fruit, and breads. Oh cereal too. I am use to a nice hot breakfast but this was fine and the lady kept it spotless.

I want to Thank the Staff at Wingate for making my experience in Lima a great one. I Definitely look forward to my next stay here at Wingate by Wyndham Lima, OH.
As a Commercial Truck Driver, having a comfortable place to go and rest outside the truck is important. I arrived after midnight Saturday night (early Sunday Morning) and Jimmie, who was working the Front Desk made me feel Welcome. He even provided valuable parking instructions for my truck and 53' trailer. After checking me in, he also stated that we (Wingate) serve a really good Breakfast.
He was Not Kidding! The Breakfast Buffet was also 5-Star Quality! Cindy the Staff Breakfast Hostess, did an Excellent Job making sure that the serving trays were filled and that everything was clean and ready for all the guests. Her commitment definitely Sets the High Bar Example!
The room was absolutely perfect and the bed and especially the pillows were Amazing! (I now know where I will be buying my next sets, from the information provided by Jason...Thank You!)
Unfortunately, Sunday evening came too soon and I had to check out to make my deliveries.
Gari, who was working the Front Desk, asked me how was my stay and if there was anything we (Wingate) could do to help make it better. I explained my stay and experience was absolutely perfect and exceptional and wished I could have stayed longer! She sincerely replied that we looked forward to seeing you back in the future!
The experience made my day.
I really felt sincerely Welcome and Valued as a Guest. You Guys Rock!
I look forward to my next stay!

I'm originally from Lima & I remember when this hotel was being built. This visit was my first time staying here. The hotel is slightly older but is well maintained. I chose a room with a hot tub to help with a chronic pain flare up that I'm experiencing. The hot tub was amazing! Our room was spacious & we almost didn't want to leave. Lol! If you're looking for a hotel, this one is worth considering, because our stay was comfortable.

Breakfast is an after thought!! No effort put into it at all.
At 8 in the morning, they had only 4 sausage and looked like they were microwaved. Not cooked or browned at all. Shortage on other foods. They had 3 yogurts available, 2 oranges, and 1 apple. Meanwhile, staff is right there....
Basically, fill up on breads, biscuits and waffles. No eggs

Comfortable with good lighting. Good value for the money. The bed was comfortable and the air con was easy to control. Lots of good parking. Service at breakfast was a little slow at times, and the fruit was limited to 4 apples in saran wrap. We would consider returning.

This was a very well maintained property. Room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good, including bacon. Though this was a downtown location, we were there on a Sunday night so it was very quiet. Sadly, none of the local restaurants were open Sunday evening.

It’s a hidden gem in Lima. Very clean and comfortable rooms, friendly & helpful staff. Decent breakfast in the morning. Great rates compared to competitors since it’s downtown compared to the others who are in more hotels & restaurants & shop areas. During one of my stays, I forgot my meds, they called me same day and packaged my pouch and shipped it promptly to me. My sincere thanks to the caring staff.

We checked in very late on a Saturday night and had no issues. I did call in earlier in the evening to confirm our late arrival so I would recommend that. The hotel is surrounded by office buildings and one way streets. It is a little annoying having to circle around to get to the parking lot but not a big deal. We had a room with two double beds. Quite a large room. Very clean. Bathroom was well stocked and clean as well. I had no trouble sleeping but my husband said he wasn't very comfortable. It didn't stop him from sleeping soundly though. My son said he was comfortable too. Breakfast was very nice the next morning. Egg patties, sausage links and bacon. Make your own waffles, cereals, baked goods, yogurt and juice. It was a nice selection and well stocked. Breakfast is pretty much in the main lobby so if you want to eat as you leave; it is convenient. On a side note, ice machines are on floors 2, 4 and 6. We were visiting Ohio Northern University and the drive to the school was quick. The hotel isn't really around much so if you are looking for a meal or shopping you will have to drive to another area of town but for comfort and cleanliness, I recommend this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you are going to attend an event at the Veteran's Memorial Civic Center. It is attached to the building so there is no need for walking across traffic. There are plenty of nice restaurants around within walking distance that have great food.

Our group of 25 stayed at this location in May of 2023. Garion was awesome at checkin ensuring that we had everything we needed. The staff was friendly, parking was easy, and we had a great overnight stay. I would recommend this location if you need an overnight near Lima.
