I have been coming to this location for yrs now. The staff is always professional and friendly. Through the yrs thy have upgraded a lot. The rooms look great this yr new beds. The staff also wear mask during this covid pandemic.
Stayed at the HoJo's in Lima a total of 3 weeks or so between August 20 and November 20 and did not have any issues. The staff was very attentive, acknowledge you when passing. The hotel is in a great location and looks very nice, inside and out.
This was the perfect layover trip. If you are heading to Atlanta, and want a good stop pit...great place to rest. . The room was well-kept. The bathroom had modern features, and the overall service was great. I had no idea of what other major chains were in the area. I was traveling alone on this day, so I wanted to stay with a brand I was familiar with or at least heard of. There was a quaint restaurant or pizza place inside, but I never made it there for food. There is also a great seafood restaurant nearby.
This place was ranked 3-stars. That is an insult to both hotels and stars. After a 10 hour work day, I was exhausted by the time I got there. The lobby was taken care of, and the front desk attendants were nice and helpful. It pretty much went downhill from there. The common areas are not as well kept and don't have the best lighting. The elevator was probably spot cleaned at best. The first room I was given was disgusting. I checked the bathroom since its right by the door, the tub floor was blackened and the toilet was not cleaned well. I checked the bed next, and all of the pillows had something on them. It started with almost unnoticeable dots to what looked like a splash of juice. But the kicker was the bug-shaped bloodstain they tried to mask under a tightly wrapped pillowcase. I called and informed the front desk. The lady was very apologetic and quickly brought me a key to another room. I was offered a free drink, but simply didn't trust ingesting anything there after that. The 2nd room was better. I would've have been even more appreciative if not for being traumatized. I still sanitized everything, and covered the bed with a sheet I brought. I was booked for another night but opted for early checkout around 8:45 the next morning, and I'm still waiting on my receipt. It's a shame because the service was good, but I will never book anything in this chain again and I have shared this experience with my company so hopefully no one else does either. *And even though this place was impossible to stay in beyond 1 night, they do not issue refunds for unused nights! I left on 10/14 and they continued to charge my company up until 10/16. Don't do it!…
This hotel is on the top of my list. When I head up to Lima I always stay here. It is like coming home.Summer and Cheyann at the front desk was full of smiles and hugs as always.Helen was super friendly and Brook always makes the best pizza. They have made alot of updates to the hotel, new carpet, sleak black chairs. The front desk is all new. Looks Amazing.! Keep up the good work.See you next time!
