Rocky Fork Ranch is part of Travel Resorts of America and is touted as one of their premier locations. We became members of TRA in February and fortunately only for an 18 month period not the full monty. One of the problems with staying at a TRA location when you are a member is that you can't make a reservation until you are within 60 of the dates you want. We expressed concern about this when we signed up but were assured they take good care of members and there wouldn't be any problems. We booked our days for Rocky Fork Ranch in July just 60 days out and requested a full hook-up site. They provided us with a site number but with the map they have on line there was no way to tell where it was located or if it had what we requested. When we arrived we discovered that we did not get a full hook-up and the site we had was far from level and very tight. Very little room for sitting outside. When we asked about getting full hook-up we were told they were already spoken for and there were none available. We booked 7 nights at this location so not having sewer hook-up was a problem. We were told that they have someone that will come around and drain you tanks for you but on Saturday when we asked about it we were told they only do it on Friday and Monday but we could request an emergency pump. They charge $20 for pumping on their normal days and $45 for emergency pumping. Needless to say we had to unhook our utilities, bring in the slides, jacks up and secure everything inside so we could move to a dumping station and then go back and hook everything back up again. The staff in the office were rude, we saw they had a driving range but when asked about hitting some balls we were told they were out and someone was out picking them up. 2 days in a row. Overall I give this location a 1 I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

We booked a cabin at Rocky Fork Ranch to decompress from recent traumatic events. We packed, prepared, and used vacation from work for a 4-night stay. When we arrived, we were booked a pet unit even though we did not have a pet. We unpacked our things and shortly after found fleas on our bodies and bites. We called the after-hours number and the gentleman was helpful and found us another cabin. We reiterated at this time that TV would be important to our stay as we do not have children and would be spending our time relaxing together. When we arrived at our new cabin, it was a small trailer with a renovated interior. We unpacked again, then found that the TV was a ROKU tv that requires WiFi connection. There was no WiFi provided to connect to. We called after hours again, and a maintenance guy arrived and told us that the only solution would be to use our personal phone hotspots. We said if there is nothing we could do that we would just have to leave. He did not make any calls, offer any further solutions, or any compassion for the problems we experienced, and told us to drop the key in a box at the office. This is, by far, the worst customer service, worst amenities, and worst most stressful situation I’ve ever experienced that was supposed to be relaxing. I will not recommend Rocky Fork Ranch to anyone.

There was 6 adults and 5 kids so we rented a duplex and Cabin L31 on July 9th 2020. The first thing we wanted to do was wipe down everything due to Covid-19 virus. The first thing that was wrong was the HOT water did not work, even after we called maintenance. Second we notice a mouse trap in front of the stove and mice dropping on top of the stove, counter tops and inside the WELCOME GUEST BASKET. The third thing was the sliding patio door was off track and wouldn't open. There was no grill outside of cabin L31. After seeing mice running around that night in BOTH cabins and a wood plank trying to cover up a large crack in the floor near the stove. We all agreed not to say there another night, the first thing the next morning my wife and I went to the front desk to let them know about our horrible night and that we were turning in our keys and getting our money back and taking the kids swimming before the 80 miles drive back home. The lady representative was hesitant at first, but slowly gave in to our request. Not so fun fact: ROCKY FORK RANCH RESORTS WANTS ME TO PAY THE QUARTERLY MAINTENANCE FEE. Because of the inconvenience it seems to me that it should be waved for at least one quarter, it would only be fair to their clients.

We loved staying here! Lot's to do and see! Our site was nice and wooded with a full hookup. Annette at the front desk was GREAT! The stable ladies were outstanding! We did the following activities: arena ride (good for little kids under 10), archery lesson, trail ride (1 hr - super awesome), fishing, played miniature golf, and saw the rodeo briefly. You need a golf cart/car to get around as much of it is hills so on a bike is not practical and it is too spread out to walk. They have an indoor pool & spa which was nice. The clubhouse was closed due to COVID restrictions but it looked nice too. The nature center they have was closed for renovation but I would love to see it when its all done. Such great activities for the kids! Lots of seasonal campers at RFR. There is a general store also with ice cream and little specialties. There is a small outdoor pool behind the ranch house which I didn't see anyone using. Seeing as this is a member only club, we will not be able to return to it unless we join. I wish there was someway for the public to rent campsites & cabins and stay inside the ranch even if it was a temporary membership or a little more money.

Rocky Fork Ranch was the worst campground we have visited as a family! We received a 3 day, 2 night free stay with buying our new camper and then they tried to sell us a membership while there. If trying to sell a membership they should have put us on a site that was more clean. Very little cell service, grass was very overgrown, the amenities were not clean, and little to no activities for the kids to do. The staff barely interact with you either. We will never return!
