Very comfortable accommodation in individual cabins with views directly out over the harbour. Ducks will greet you when you walk out the door in the morning! Lots of cafe's around for breakfast after tea and coffee in the room. Dinner in the restaurant was very good with good service from the young waiters. Lamb shank dishes that were cooked long...

I think this was one if the best restaurants that I have had the pleasure to visit. The setting was gorgeous, the staff very helpful and the food was absolutely amazing. The scollops and calamari for entre were delicious for main the pork chop just melted in your mouth and the slow cooked lamb was scrumptious. Unfortunately didn't have room...

We stayed 3 nights in the room called the Punt. The location is great, only a 5 minute walk to the harbour and the main part of town. We had nice views over the cove. The rooms are comfortable and large. We didn't have any problems with noise but we were on the top floor. However the whole building needs...

We stayed two nights at Risby Cove lodged in the cabin named the "Boat Shed". This is one of the two cabins that are closest to the water and face directly out across Macquarie Harbour at ground level. The comfortable and atmosphere was just great. The cabins are well appointed with most normal facilities one expects. The complimentary Post decanter...

We arrived before 1pm after a fairly long drive to Risby Cove our accomodation in Strahan. The note on reception said back at 2 pm so we decided to have a look around this quaint building. It was a little difficult to work out where the accomodation actually was. The restaurant was open and we chatted to a very friendly...

We stopped in at Risby Cove for 3 nights, in a 2 bedroom cottage. We looked directly out onto the water and we had ducks and geese for company. The days we were there it was a little cool and rainy but had it been warmer we could have swum and gone out in a dinghy or kayak. It's beautiful,...

Spent two nights here. Room basic but a lovely location in an old harbour. Quiet, great sea views, 5 minutes stroll into town. Restaurant good. Another good place to stopover on our self drive tour. Drove to some remote beaches from here.

Risby Cove had the most beautiful sunsets when we stayed there (2 nights) in January. It was quit, peaceful, serene and just what the weary traveller needed. I was surprised however, that there was not a window in our room and it got stuffy and hot. There was a front door (which you would never leave open) and a back...
