I had managed to get our itinerary a little bit out of whack and we were heading to Strahan a day early when I noticed my mistake. I gave them a call and they could not have been more helpful. They changed our booking and made us most welcome. I then managed to leave some items in the wardrobe and... More

When we got to Strahan village the lady at the counter said we had to show our auto club membership if we wanted a special, she also said it was written in our booking so we went to our room and checked. It was NOT in our booking. We called the reception to inform the lady. When we told her... More

My partner and I stayed here as I bought a Sunseeker voucher and so made a weekend of it and stayed in Strahan Friday and Saturday nights. We arrived and were pleasantly welcomed in reception - we found it fascinating though, that the staff do not mention (at all) any events, eateries, things to do, apart from what they own.... More

We stayed two nights in Strahan. We booked a family room and it is huge. plant of space parking at the door. The rooms are very clean. Great to have a bath for the kids. The restaurant and guest lounge is just the other side of the car park with spectacular views over Strahan. The staff at reception very friendly... More

You come across the great little seaside village as you enter but keep driving around beyond the village until you come to the beach and O my! It's breathtaking! Fortunately for me I had a 4 wheel drive and could access the beautiful deserted beach. There wasn't really anything open when I went through as it was low tourist season... More

Hi macka28 Thanks for taking the time to post your review. Strahan has a lot to offer with a UNESCO world heritage area on our door step. One of the best ways to explore this area is by 4WD which by the sounds of it you did. Regards Brad Coelho More

Stayed here for 2 nights in a harbour view room. Comfortable beds in a large room with great view. The facilities are modern and very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location for the cruises and train. Next time we are in that part of Tasmania I will definitely stay again.

This was my first time staying in Strahan - unfortunately it was for work! But what a place to stay - pleasant, magnificent location and beautiful views over the harbour from the top of the village. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, Strahan Village is well worth considering.

Just spent a week at Strahan Village. The rooms were very comfortable for a family of 5. The hospitality was great, all the staff were very friendly. We stayed in one of the Hilltop Harbour View rooms, and it was fantastic. We Would happily return. Thanks for everything. See you next time.

We were given a great rate for our stay in Strahan Village but were still a bit unsure at what we would discover - some of the photos on their website look quite old and worn. However once we arrived at our room we were pleasantly surprised by what we found. I think we had one of their one-bedroom hilltop... More

We stayed in a cottage overlooking the Harbour which was a very good size. Very clean, comfy bed, great heating. A shame there was no basic cooking facilities eg. toaster, microwave as eating places are limited. There is not much choice within walking distance other than to use the Bistro, pub or on site restaurant all run by the village.... More

Hi RL1957 Thanks for taking the time to post your review. Some of our 142 rooms have cooking facilities; had we of know of your requirements we would have been able to organise a suitable room. Unfortunately during the month of June a few of the other local restaurants decided to close which resulted in limited dining options in Strahan.... More
