We stumbled upon this hotel while travelling. It is beautifully landscaped and we stayed in a room over looking the ocean which had views to die for! We found the restaurant a little over priced and not much variety in the menu but service was great across the board.

There for a few days. Had breakfast and one evening meal there. The evening meal was wonderful and all staff (including room staff) very good, a compliment to management. However the rooms although very clean and comfortable need some basic maintenance. Just small things that need their attention. I reported a blown light globe on bedside lamp, an in house... More

The amenities are first class. We had a king bed overlooking the water. Good size room The restaurant is well set out with plenty of table room and a large log fire to keep the place warm. Table service was very good although a little slow. Would definitely come again. One person did the dining room, reception and bar the evening... More

Resort is in a great location. Within walking distance to shops. Gardens are lovely. Sitting on the deck over looking the tidal water is very relaxing. The bird life is abundant. Rooms are a good size and clean. Bathrooms are also good. Food is plentiful and a good menu to choose from.

Tidal Waters is large, lacking in charm and reminded us of a nursing home. In saying that the rooms were large and clean and there was a restaurant on site. The walls must be pretty thin as we were kept awake by someone snoring in another room. I found the staff friendly and certainly willing to assist. Overall the stay... More

I haven't actually stayed at Tidal Waters but on the basis of a phone call I received from some-one marketing it I wouldn't want to. The call was for an accommodation offer. It wasn't a bad offer but when I listened, asked some questions then declined the sign off was instant - "Good bye - have a good weekend!" I... More

Our short stay was pleasant Rooms ok but getting a bit dated now. View from the room was great. Staff and their service was very friendly and warm. We chose a very chilly day / night to stay and I felt a bit cold there. Realised yhey had extra heater in the room abit later in the night...one we used... More

An upmarket resort on Georges Bay. The resort has a restaurant and communal areas furnished with sofas and dining tables. I’m guessing that the tables could be used for group card games. The furnished area off the reception has a wood burning fire, perfect comfort during cold winter days and nights. There is a large outdoor terrace area overlooking the... More

Bed was hard and sagged in the middle. Dirty veranda and Mould from the outlet from the exhaust fan from bathroom. Fridge was so noisy that I had to turn it off overnight. Very overpriced for what you got, had caravan parks nicer than this hotel.
