Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast in our room was amazing! Rooms by the pool were great for a family with young kids. The pools indoors so the weather doesn't matter. Regatta weekend there is so much to do.

An older property but very nice size on the rooms and well maintained. Nice view and location. We didn't try the pub - looked ok but mostly just regular pub food. Went out for great Indian food instead.

Our usual stop, nothing better than being able to refresh by jumping into an indoor pool during the hottest afternoon hours. Touring on motorbikes, we don't require a butler, nice paintings, flowers or artificial sophisticated hospitality - a clean room, bed and bathroom do perfectly fine. Which is exactly what Bayside Inn offers. Their kitchen is very nice, reasonably priced... More

Everything about the hotel was very dated. We were there in the middle of summer and there were no ceiling fans or air con., just a small desk top fan. The room was large. The location is very central and close to restaurants. bottle shop at the front door. The parking was across the road in a public car park

Polite and helpful staff. Would recommend to others for a weekend/week in St Helens to explore the area. Room clean and well serviced. The price of food was reasonable and the service quick and the food well presented..

It's seen better days, and is long overdue for a makeover, but you can't beat the view from the upstairs balconies; straight out over the bay. Downstairs is the bistro and boy do they know how to cook a steak. I'd give them another half star just for the meals. Unlike a lot of hotels of this type, there is... More

The downstairs was a bit of a mish-mash, with locals eating and drinking in a couple of big rooms, a gambling room next door. The pool was a bit 'tired' and uninviting. There was no elevator. However, the staff were helpful and the room was large, airy and clean.

This is a nice old motel but it needs some serious money spent updating it. It's an interesting trip back to the 70s with wood paneling on the walls and old carpet in orange & brown in the corridors. I picked this Inn partly because of it's pool; I knew my children would love it, and we swum every day,... More
