My family stayed the night on a recent road trip around Tassie. The accommodation was fabulous, we stayed in a lakeside apartment. For the night we paid $260 in the week before Christmas. We ate in the restaurant which was fit for 200 people, no music, no ambience and expensive. Stay the night but head into Stanley, lots a great...

On the edge of town Tall Timbers Hotel accommodation has a lovely free grassed area for self contained RVs. Max 72 hrs in a 14 day period. Good base for day trips. Facilities, including an indoor pool and spa can be accessed for a fee. A drivein bottleshop had beer cheaper than in town.

Everything was great;welcome, staff, food, pool, room EXCEPT I could hear the conversation from the room next door. Shame, the room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. It even had a toaster as well as the usual kettle etc. Otherwise it would have been 5*

The rooms are fairly basic but nicely done. Very clean Everything you could need. There are a lot of good eating options on site. The sports bar and the restaurant are excellent. Great atmosphere. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. The restaurant was very busy on the night we dined but they were very quick with their...

Tall Timbers accomodation is second to none - everything in the rooms is spotlessly clean - the rooms are of a good size and very well appointed. The bar in Tall Timbers is nice and quiet and really well done with the sporting theme. The restaurant is beautifully done, the meals are excellent - if I have any complaints at...

Hotel room was best described As 'fine', definitely a 'motel' room. No kettle in room & every noise from gravel carpark outside clearly audible. I turned every lamp and light in the room on and still felt I was in the dark - very hard light to work in. Same theme in bistro next morning - glorious sunny day out...

Staff were fabulous. Friendly and helpful. From check in to check out the staff were very professional. The room was clean and comfortable and made up each day. The internet was only for one day at a time and a bit inconvenient to have to renew daily, but this was not a huge problem. The food in the bistro was...

The room was excellent and the property itself is lovely. We gave up trying oi connect to the internet and our problem may have been the distance we were from reception. The meal at the bistro was delicious but the service left a bit to be desired. New waitress who was lovely but our empty plates were left sitting in...
