We stayed here for one night on our way back to Launceston. The hotel is very old and has lots of interesting features. Ross is one of Tasmania's historic towns. The staff were friendly but new owners were still finding their way! The meal was good pub quality and the wine list very adequate. Our room was comfortable, clean and... More

Stay at this heritage-listed coaching inn and you'll be at the centre of nearly 200 years of history. It was built in 1831. Imagine how much has happened there since then. It is not a brand new motel! Don't stay here if you want such bland, en suited facilities. But for hospitality, character, value and comfort this a great choice... More

The worst accomodation on our lovely road trip around Tasmania, no ensuite, no breakfast, freezing cold, no fire place, no staff to be found next morning to check out, all saved by wonderful bakery opposite , the best vanilla slices in the world, lovely log fire, 6 degrees outside

Meals took nearly 2 hours to come out, chips were warm and not cooked fresh, meal was warm, meals to the table came out all different times. Honestly not worth it, better food and service at mood food. Or keep going to Campbell town. Would not recommend

An enjoyable country pub with clean rooms, free wifi, continental breaky in the communal kitchen, on street parking. Our meals were great, well presented dining room, good service in a friendly pub. Mixing with the locals in a pub room

Staying here for 1 night. Great little town with a lot of history. Great walk around the town which has a heritage village feel. The bridge is magnificant, a real example of heritage stone masonry, probably convict by the little arrows on the steel spikes. The hotel is cheap to stay, but I've never paid $8.60 for a pint of... Lovely old pub. Room was comfortable and clean but old as you would expect. Bathroom toilet down the hall were clean and tidy. Beds were comfy. Toast tea coffee cereal available free in the breakfast lounge room. Tv in lounge. Only place open for dinner so make a dinner booking when booking your room. Lovely to walk around the town... More

Without doubt one of the prettiest and quietest areas of Tasmania. Hotel room good and clean, able to make own breakfast of cereal and toast in share kitchen/lounge. Share toilet shower pokey and not ideal, dark and unlit at night. Biggest drawback was lugging cases up tall staircase. Ambience more than made up for it and the meal was excellent... More

visited the hotel. The rooms were just 'so, so'. Priced reasonable for the amount of tourism in this area south of Launceston. Great Historic town well worth a stop over. Plenty of Churches and the history artound the area. visut the Old bridge with convict markings.

My sister and I spent just one night at the hotel, clean comfy rooms and beds. Breakfast included in the price, get yr own, do yr own dishes. And so we should for the price. Was very convenient. Would recommend.
